Most teen boys worldwide will put the 5kg shot, then move to the 6kg before finally moving to the senior 7.26kg. The 12 lb shot in America was introduced sometime in the 1890's from my research, but it may even go back further than that.
Got a kid I'm going against states in and throws a 65'9". I'm in Michigan. His name is Dylan Taggart, and he is a junior. Absolutely destroys everyone.
@@codislife3095 I'd have to throw 52 ft just to get into Regionals. Then I'd have to throw 53 or 54 to get into State. And to win state I'd have to throw around 62 or 63
spud man there are 15 year olds who are good enough to get to state, and if you are 19 as a senior, that means you got held back a year, which I think makes you ineligible for high school athletics
*_Chunky Ragu_* no it doesn't kids at this time of year may have had their birthday for instance a kid in my grade never got held back and he will turn 19 in the January of senior year
Shot has be held on your neck b4 you throw, the shot needs to land inside the sector lines, the shot has to be 12 lbs for boys 4kg for girls, anything you take in the ring other than the shot must stay in the ring until the shot hits the ground(for instance if you where a hat the hat cannot come off and fall outside the ring), and you have to exit the back of the ring under control after the shot hits the ground.
Wisconsin was more competitive. Now, why RUclips showed me Wisconsin D1 State a month ago and Ohio D1 State today, that I have no idea. They haven't queued any other high school state meets for me.
Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
Boys' HS shot is 12 lbs in America. Girls use the 4kg.
K Francis is it different anywhere else?

Is there rules on how you can. Throw it???
i think you have to have it above your shoulder and below your ear
You can’t exit the circle until the shot put lands. This is the only set rule. All the other rules change for every meet

These kids don't appear to have much strength or explosiveness in their movement or delivery.
