yes In terms of ps the tricks are: -Linkage involving twisted sonic, pass (idk kinda random) (learn simple things like this) -Neosonic -Thumbaround (her form on this one needs more power from the fingers, don't hold in the middle) -Charge (most basic and easy pen trick ever) -Palm Spin (The last two are standard drum tricks, not ps)
After slowing down the speed in settings I was able to make your tutorial useful to me. I'm not yet ready for the gothic fingernail paint, but i know myself well and when I want it bad enough i will go to work at it for hours. On the downside: I just gotta walk around with drumsticks in my back pocket all the time. I picked up a few gigs doing that so I don't mind the extra weight , except when seating my skinny ass in a car and forgetting I have my training sticks in my back pocket.
Very good techniques! I played drums for 30 years, but only learned the technique # 4. I congratulate you. Obviously I already subscribed to your channel.
Awesome! I've been looking for some new ones to apply to my playing. My friend Chris Frazier (Steve Vai/Whitesnake) always does the 'over the pointer finger' flip in his playing and during casual conversation. Was always curious about that one. Thanks!
for the "rock and roll spin", keep your palm facing you, and use your pointer finger to keep the momentum. It looks sloppy if you move your wrist too much
If you want to play like a god 1.Learn Heal-toe method, get a double pedal, do heal toe on both pedals. 2. learn a gravity blast mix them together... 3. then do these stick flips, also play a violin at the same time, then maybe drink coffee and read the morning newspaper, do this all while driving to work blindfolded while video taping and maybe some more cools stuff at the same time. finally upload to youtube, get 1 million views, your golden!
Perhaps. We are often responsible for maintaining the integrity of the band's showmanship, so tricks improve the show. On stage it can be impressive, but you are correct. On the album we cannot improve ourselves that much with tricks. Thnx.
I agree! You ARE my favorite stick twirler too! Really like how you do it sloooowly too. Thanks so much! I STILL suck at it........maybe someday with ALOT of practice I'll get it.
I like the first spin a lot, you are so smooth and fast! I still could not quite pick it up. Maybe just a bit slower please..thank you so much....I want to get this and will keep trying
that is amazing keep it up Im also in a Drumline at my old High school and all i would do is some stick twirling it is fun to kill some time but what you did was awesome keep it up
decent vid, i was hoping for some more advanced stick tricks but nothing wrong with mastering the basics. you should consider making a vid of either more advanced tricks or doing tricks with lumi or graphite sticks (a bit harder due to weight difference). cheers.
Thank you very much, brilliant lesson. 1 strange but helpful idea for us learners though - to film it from behind you/real life perspective because everything we see in this video we have to mirror. Just an idea, thanks very much for so many cool different ideas!
i am a show drummer.by the name of .fon morcus in olympia wasington .i love the way you do the stick spinning nice lesson .thank you .i dond do any of it in my show .i will start practissing some of them i was never any good at it .you do a nice job of it .go to youtube and tipe in fon morcus i have 6 videos on there .i only play once a year thank you once again .fon morcus
great video, enjoyed watchin' it, but still facin' much trouble with the first trick, i can't quite see what you do after the stick is between your index and thumb. but great video nonetheless, it's just the first trick.
your over the thumb spin(3) dont grab for it. Find the center on the stick, spin it, and momentum will return it perfectly to between your index and thumb. if you reach for it, you risk dropping it more. good otherwise :)
Very nice! Not many girl drummers out there. Most can't do that much either, 'especially' with stick tricks. Not to mention, you're pretty! ; ) I'm impressed.
If you ever came to my high school you would show all the guys up on drumming and techniques, even me, and I'm the best snare drummer in our band. You are very good so keep doin' what you're doin
Wow your amazing at drumming, thank you so much for this lesson. I'm in percussion and I always dreamed of being this good. I hope I can be as good as you some day!!! Thanks :D :3
Is the band Shame Club your's? I like it a lot! Is there any way I can listen to more because I found one other song and a live performance here on youtube.
I've practiced #4 (the "rock n roll" twirl) for years, never could get it right, also practiced the palm spin once in a while but the stick just flies out of my hand every time. I probably just don't have the patience to spend so much time to practice. You have very impressive skills there, I've never seen anybody do the rock n roll twirl that fast, you're incredible. How many hours of practice would you say it would take most drummers to learn that one?
i honestly don't ever sit down and practice many of them. it came very natural to me for some reason. Try spinning the stick in the opposite direction sometimes that helps. I spin my sticks counter clockwise unlike most people who spin it clockwise. give it a shot. might make a difference for you. :)
Thanks for this video. I'd love it if you could go more into the #2 over the pointer finger flip. Can you do a short demo where you move the stick around with your other hand very slow? This is the one I REALLY want to learn. I saw Sal Mineo do it in the 1959 movie Gene Krupa Story. It's agreat movie check it out. I need to know this trick!!! Tks, ur the best keep beatn em!!!
@Ersicurezza Let's just make this easy: The song is "I Ain't Surprised" by SHAME CLUB album: Come On Release May 19, 2008 Got it? :) Great spins, LBird44 by the way. I just do Frisbees, dang it.
I like this tricks, but please could you use an other color stick? Cause I couldn't see the fingers movements because it's white, idk of you get it XD. I've been trying to do the first one, but I just can't see how
@shotsxxx Ehh,depends on what kind of music. If you are really busy playing complicated parts, can't do a whole lot of tricks. Rather be known for my ability than my showmanship. But I know where you're coming from, been doing this for 30 years.
I'm trying to learn the first one where you spin it through all of your fingers continuously but I just can't seem to get it!!! How long did it take you to get it down at full speed?
Thanks for the descriptive explanation
I realize it's quite off topic but do anybody know a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
@Warren Ricardo flixportal xD
@Caspian Emerson thank you, I went there and it seems to work :D I really appreciate it!
@Warren Ricardo No problem xD
Your face is like "see? It's not that difficult, ..."
you should explain the first trick. it's really impossible to understand how you do it
I would like to learn it.
Agreed. I wanna know the first one so bad but I can't see what f she's doing
+Laura Mahan there is a stick trick PLAYLIST on my channel, i go into more detail about lots of tricks there. :)
13 years later.
This video is still #1 for stick tricks.
Damn! 1.3 Million views on this? You're killing it! Keep it up! :D
THANK YOU! :)
yes
In terms of ps the tricks are:

-Thumbaround (her form on this one needs more power from the fingers, don't hold in the middle)
-Charge (most basic and easy pen trick ever)
-Palm Spin
(The last two are standard drum tricks, not ps)
I don't care bout the sticks, I just love this Gal
;)
NaroJohn Dep 😂😂

I KNOW this is an old video, but THANK YOU!
thank YOU for watching and enjoying! :)
Very good techniques! I played drums for 30 years, but only learned the technique # 4. I congratulate you. Obviously I already subscribed to your channel.
Q: Do you know what a metronome is?
A: A little short guy from the big city.
I hope you enjoyed my joke.
God bless Y'all.
Great job. I would like to see #4 more from a side view. You really got it spinning, a lot faster than I can! Thumbs up!
This is not really a lesson. It's just go kinda slow and try for us to guess what to do
+Laura Mahan if you want more explanation check out my stick trick PLAYLIST. i go into more detail about lots of tricks there.
thanks!!!
But iwant learn
Yeah, what's the name of this song? I've been trying to find it everywhere but can't!!!
I love the beat.
I actually had to slow down the slow version, lol.
Awesome! I've been looking for some new ones to apply to my playing. My friend Chris Frazier (Steve Vai/Whitesnake) always does the 'over the pointer finger' flip in his playing and during casual conversation. Was always curious about that one. Thanks!
would you have his email/gmail possibly ?, oldschool 80's drummer here , would love to talk to him, i only have email here thanks > tom !
one time I tried to do a stick trick and I hit my eye
...then drumming is not for you. You are now being redirected to the guitar discussion group
😂
You are a god of twirling drum sticks!!!
smile.
Thank you 🙏🏽
You Rock 🤘🏽😊
Singers voice reminds me a bit of Bon Scott...
GAHH! This gail is the bomb!! Her tricks art super easy to follow!
for the "rock and roll spin", keep your palm facing you, and use your pointer finger to keep the momentum. It looks sloppy if you move your wrist too much
The first move is a "Fingerpass" second one is an "Index Spin", Third move is a "Thumbaround" #4 is called a "Charge".
omg that is so cool... i use those exact drum sticks, sweetness
If you want to play like a god 1.Learn Heal-toe method, get a double pedal, do heal toe on both pedals. 2. learn a gravity blast mix them together... 3. then do these stick flips, also play a violin at the same time, then maybe drink coffee and read the morning newspaper,

and maybe some more cools stuff at the same time.
finally upload to youtube, get 1 million views, your golden!
very good technique
influences the size of drumsticks?
Eres super genial con las baquetas, Felicidades y que sigas dando mas, Un beso y un abrazo Es exelente lo que haces!!
Perhaps. We are often responsible for maintaining the integrity of the band's showmanship, so tricks improve the show. On stage it can be impressive, but you are correct. On the album we cannot improve ourselves that much with tricks. Thnx.
Awesome! Thank you so much I was getting sick of doing to same three spins over and over now I have a really really cool fourth one.
I agree! You ARE my favorite stick twirler too! Really like how you do it sloooowly too. Thanks so much! I STILL suck at it........maybe someday with ALOT of practice I'll get it.
@Shloogan ahaha thanks. yea ive got 3 bands there are vids of them on my channel. and im from canada
Great tricks.
Would you post the first one even slower?
One move at a time.
Amazin'!!! i haven't heard u yet, but if u play drums like u flip sticks... well, u will become a kickass drummer!!!
For you and every other fool doing stick tricks, id LOVE to see you play while doing them, no mess ups
I like the first spin a lot, you are so smooth and fast! I still could not quite pick it up. Maybe just a bit slower please..thank you so much....I want to get this and will keep trying
Awesome!!!! Thank you for this video, it's very usefull for those who wants to learn stick tricks. I will try !
that is amazing keep it up Im also in a Drumline at my old High school and all i would do is some stick twirling it is fun to kill some time but what you did was awesome keep it up
Thanks for the stick tricks video help, also thanks for the tip on the music you used, awesome song choice.
I love the stick tricks you do!! Hey do you have some vids where I can check out the tricks while your playing drums?:) rock on Lbird!
decent vid, i was hoping for some more advanced stick tricks but nothing wrong with mastering the basics. you should consider making a vid of either more advanced tricks or doing tricks with lumi or graphite sticks (a bit harder due to weight difference). cheers.
thank you so much....you're amazing girl! i'm a drummer girl too...
Thank you very much, brilliant lesson. 1 strange but helpful idea for us learners though - to film it from behind you/real life perspective because everything we see in this video we have to mirror. Just an idea, thanks very much for so many cool different ideas!
Thanks for the insight girl, unfortunately I've never felt comfortable twirling sticks while playing.
i am a show drummer.by the name of .fon morcus in olympia wasington .i love the way you do the stick spinning nice lesson .thank you .i dond do any of it in my show .i will start practissing some of them i was never any good at it .you do a nice job of it .go to youtube and tipe in fon morcus i have 6 videos on there .i only play once a year thank you once again .fon morcus
Nice Job! The first one was my favorite.
Added to favorites you are amazing , going to practice right now!
Heeeey... I am going to use this video as a referance to stick tricks. Thank you so much for the lessons.
great video, enjoyed watchin' it, but still facin' much trouble with the first trick, i can't quite see what you do after the stick is between your index and thumb. but great video nonetheless, it's just the first trick.
really kewl im might have to use some of these incredible tricks you showed me
I can only do "The Rock 'n' Roll Stick Twirl". But you're very great!
@palmer156 try to control the stick by using your index finger only to articulate the movement. (if it's the spin)
The song is"I AIN'T SURPRISED" by Shame Club.
your over the thumb spin(3)
dont grab for it. Find the center on the stick, spin it, and momentum will return it perfectly to between your index and thumb. if you reach for it, you risk dropping it more.
good otherwise :)
i really like the first one. never seen it before. THANKS. nice video :)
Very nice! Not many girl drummers out there. Most can't do that much either, 'especially' with stick tricks. Not to mention, you're pretty! ; ) I'm impressed.
You make that look soooooo easy! lol Great job!!!! Subscribed!
Who here remembers when round round was the background song

ur blank stare scared the crap outta me. bravo!
Muchas gracias! Estoty practicando a full!!!
The palm thing looked awesome.
What song and artist is that? awesome song
thanks im totally stealing those tricks when im doing gigs ppl love that stuff
I think you wear the white sticks that are easier to see and so it's supposed to be faster right?
If you ever came to my high school you would show all the guys up on drumming and techniques, even me, and I'm the best snare drummer in our band. You are very good so keep doin' what you're doin
Wow awesome and I actually do 2 or 3 of them and I didn't knew they were spins I feel proud about myself
You make it look so easy!
You taught me how to twizzle. I'm not bad, I look like I'm going to be a great drummer and then it all falls to pieces when I start playing.
what size sticks do u use? pretty good tricks.
cool tricks man :) hey do you think you could at all re-do the first trick you showed slower?? :)
Wow your amazing at drumming, thank you so much for this lesson. I'm in percussion and I always dreamed of being this good. I hope I can be as good as you some day!!! Thanks :D :3
Jody LaNew Just practice, practice, practice! :) You can be as good as everyone else! You just need to really want it :)
+Jody LaNew thank you! :D
YOU'RE
Your awesome... my kids want to learn, so thanks for the post!
Nice tricks. No one noticed she put up two #5's. Haha. 1,2,3,4,5,5,6,7. :D
Who needs a drum set when you have a pillow? FTW! Great video
Wow... the first one loooks great...
Is the band Shame Club your's? I like it a lot! Is there any way I can listen to more because I found one other song and a live performance here on youtube.
HOW DO U DO THE FIRST ONE ??? REALLY COOL !!! SO DIFFICULT
I've practiced #4 (the "rock n roll" twirl) for years, never could get it right, also practiced the palm spin once in a while but the stick just flies out of my hand every time. 5 is one of the easiest ones! dont over think it, you will get it! :D
Awesome! Gotta learn #1. Girl u rock!. Tnks for the video.
Yeah, well... I'm a drummer and I don't know any of those tricks. And after all these years playing drums, I think may learn one of those.
i really wanna learn the first one but idk what you're doing when it goes between the index and thumb :(
That is so cool! Twist it, baby :3
Nice! Thanx for posting :-)
@Ersicurezza Let's just make this easy: The song is "I Ain't Surprised" by SHAME CLUB album: Come On Release May 19, 2008 Got it? :) Great spins, LBird44 by the way. I just do Frisbees, dang it.

check out some of my other videos! i have lots of close up and well explained trick lessons! :)
Those tricks are Awesome!!!
Hey, I just met you, & This is Crazy!!! :) :* good job! I'll Add this to my favourite ok!? ))
@shotsxxx Ehh,depends on what kind of music. If you are really busy playing complicated parts, can't do a whole lot of tricks. Rather be known for my ability than my showmanship. But I know where you're coming from, been doing this for 30 years.
on the last trick? or the 2nd last trick?
great work , thanx for slowing down so we can see the work. Keep on.
N.
nice handeling with the sticks, wish I could do that so fast=)
Do what I do; every time you drop a stick, do 10 or 15 pushups! It builds arm strength AND gives you an incentive to not drop sticks anymore =-)
Really cool stuff. I'm gonna start practicing my twirling!
I'm trying to learn the first one where you spin it through all of your fingers continuously but I just can't seem to get it!!! How long did it take you to get it down at full speed?
lol, I could only do half a palm roll, how long you been at it? I just started! Thx for the vid!
Can you do a video explaining #4 I know every drummer knows how to do it but ive been playing drums for 3 years and still cant do it.
Awesome, i can play but i suck at sticktricking Dx Im gonna train on this :P
Thanks, keep up the good work.
during the rock twirl can anyone explain to me what your hands are supposed to be doing. If you can that would be much appreciated.
i know this is so late, but can you do a single video with audio on the over the pointer flip?
