    If they keep adding stations that’s great, however the grid will be unable to supply the power to the stations so what’s the point of building more of them? 5 minutes at a gas station every 450 miles makes more sense to me.

      It's going to be a challenge. We will see how this all plays out. We need to produce more electricity if they want to keep adding more electric cars.

      Thanks for these informative and straightforward posts. I certainly would like to own an ev but in my rural and northern region of the country it would not be practical for me as primary transportation. I do think they are a marvelous invention and have thought about them for many years. However,
      increasing electric production to supply the needs of ev’s can only result in even greater damage to the environment. All electricity produced today and for the foreseeable future must come from fossil fuel powered generating plants. There are no alternatives. Environmentalists will never allow another large scale hydroelectric facility to be built. Nuclear is the only other option and unfortunately that is at least 50 yrs or more out. Wind and solar are erratic and not consistent enough to boost the power output on the enormous scale that will be needed. The by products of producing these energy sources is also not ultimately environmentally free either. Then ofc the entire battery production and disposal issues are mostly ignored.
      Today’s ice’s emit nearly zero gases that have negative impact on the environment and they improve constantly on that front. Common sense would say that ev’s will ultimately further dirty the environment as well as crash the existing power grid if they continue to increase in numbers. So forget the inconvenience of not being able to charge the vehicle as that is secondary to the environmental impact they will create. But ofc in this politically charged environment, common sense has been ignored for the sake of virtue signaling. Thanks again for posting.

    on the parking issue, one easy solution is to not park in handicap spots if you are not handicapped - kind of sad EV owners don't already know this

    • @JettersGarage
      @JettersGarage  Год назад

      I used this as an example because Handicap parking spots are larger. It gave a better point of view. Of course, you should not park in a handicap spot if you are not disabled.

      Haha, they all do understand this. I used a handicap spot to show the largest size parking spot.

    An adapter with a bit of cord attached would solve all of these charger distance issues.
    Ford lightings should come with an adapter that has like 4-6 feet of cord on it.

    Can Americas infrastructure handle all these stations at 70% capacity, Not if 10s of millions of people get electric cars.

    The other brands are losing market share and slowing ev production so most of the EV's sold in America will be Tesla anyway. The electric grid has grown 10 folds over the last 50 years there is no reason it can't be upgraded. When air conditioning became standard it was the same issue.

  • @SilverAura

    "Our" spaces, whether you realized it or not, is the sort of exclusive talking about fueling a vehicle that's going to make any kind of EV rollout to be an enormously painful process. And with Tesla leading the charge, if you'll pardon the expression... hardly instills any amount of confidence.
    If they win and establish a standard, I won't necessarily be happy but I'll accept that a standard exists. I just really don't think Tesla's the company to allow establish it.

    I understand what you saying about the size of these new EVs. Although I own a crew cab long bed diesel truck that is 22 feet long from bumper to bumper. So IMO they will be easier to part then my current vehicle

      Not really about the standard parking. Much more about parking in the charging spots. Thanks for commenting.

    You going to have to buy your gas thing or diesel generator to put in trunk of your electric car. Where they doubt they're so you can charge it with a generator. I made you got to carry gasoline or diesel with you.

      The smart Tesla drivers on any electric card indeed will put a generator in their trunk would a gallon or two of gasoline to feed the generator. Is nothing like getting stuck but any car in a roll that's one area Crank that generator up sit there and get this car going I like sad tesler sold out his own customers more money.

      you can't keep adding when there is not enough power to distribute. Why do you think they have rolling brownouts in California and Texas? Can't even run your AC there!

    Interesting video but it’ll be OK. Do a little bit more research try to do research on the optimistic side of the entrepreneurship of America when the car first came out they said it would never work because it needed roads and they were coming out faster and they can build roads that research that see what happened you’re always gonna have people that say you can’t work it can’t be done is going to be a huge problem. Do you never hear from them when it does work

    • @JettersGarage
      @JettersGarage  Год назад

      Appreciate your comment. If you watch my full video I don't say it can't be done. I talk about the pain that I feel is coming next year. As large amounts of new cars are added, it will affect your ability to supercharge quickly. At least that's my opinion.

    Do you know how charging batteries work. Let me tell you as you charging the battery at Bealls up heat lots of heat in a lithium battery you have to let him cool down so you can accept more power. You can have what they call a thermal Runaway. Tell the first 80% it's fast-charging then the other part is because you build up so much heat you have to wait until it cools down or it will only charge slowly to keep from having a thermal Runaway. Before you bought electric car they been around since the first conception of cars did you know that. Sorry I'm an history tells you about batteries I didn't tell you about business Tesla's going to take the money if it's sitting there PCS already that y'all put up what about anything from Tesla. You're dumb enough to buy the car you're dumb enough to deal with it. Have a nice day😂❤
