    there's a general malaise on that Rangers team and its been going on for sometime now, its time to trade them and get Shesterkin signed long term

    Considering that Trouba's wife was one of the main problems when he was in Winnipeg and why he would only accept a trade to a NY area team (NYR, NYI, NJD), how are the Rangers going to convince her to allow Trouba to be dealt?

    Noone wants trouba and that contract

    Highly unlikely the Rangers can trade those guys, even if they really wanted to.
    Whoever takes them will be a contending team, and will be squeezing pretty big contracts into a tight cap.
    The Rangers are also a win-now team, so it's not like they're looking for picks and prospects in return. They'd be getting someone else's high-priced underachievers.

    20 games in and every team is to turn their lineups over, come on, guys are still working the kinks out

    Kreider for Jiricik I’m sure there can be other pieces involved to make it work but CLB doesn’t need more picks and prospects. They need veteran NHL players especially after unfortunately losing Geudrow. That team is young enough and still has a deep pipeline of great prospects a player like Kreider can help usher in the new generation teach the kids how to be pro’s. He’s a leader he’s still good for 30+ goals a year he’s the best PP net front in the NHL and is also an elite penalty killer. I think it’s a win win the Rangers shake things up and get a young player in return and CLB gets a veteran player who still has plenty of gas left in the tank.

    We dropped Trouba in Winnipeg because of his attitude and entitlement, no one is going to touch Trouba with that contract and he won't go anywhere except NY area. Then again, LA and Washington were dumb enough to take PLD.

    Trouba needs to go. Its been like this for years. Kreider would lose the locker room. Trouba just is a con to the defense.

    The Winnipeg Jets traded Trouba for Neal Pionk, who is having a career year on a championship caliber club. Trouba is a cry baby

    Im a Ranger fan, and I'll admit they stink. The only reason they have been in games and have a winning record is Shesterkin. What teams allows 50 shots against the families or 43 against the blues? Mika and Kreider are mediorce, Panarin and Culliye are only one's scoring. Little physical play from the team. Needs to be blown up, they have no chance against Tampa, Florida, and even Washington

    Here's a new rule that i think/believe that would benefit teams who's players get hits to the head and time loss deliberate plays, Brock Boeser has been out 7 games due to a hit to the head, player who hit him gets a 3 game suspension, why not wait until the injured player is back from however many games missed, and the next day NO MATTER WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY, to player who was penalized sits the same amount of games, dude got a hand slap for that hit to Brocks head

    This is why Canadian franchises will never win another Cup....they just aren't ruthless enough, not as compelled or driven to win. Canadian fans will put up with years of losing...look no further than the "mighty" Canadiens.
    US fans demand improvement immediately, and a visible path to competing for a championship. They just won't tolerate or pay to watch losing.

    • @bted
      @bted Час назад

      Canadian teams may have a disadvantage because lot of players (free agents) prefer US teams for different reasons: lower taxes, a lot of better weather spots, a lot less travel for the eastern US teams. Etc.
      But for all that, why haven't the Rangers won more? They have all the resources in the world and very "demanding" fans. You'd think they'd be the Yankees of hockey.
      You talk about Canadian teams like they're noncompetitive. You just had Edmonton within a game of the Cup. Toronto is competitive every year. Vancouver had a great year last year. You really think Toronto and Vancouver fans are less "demanding" than fing Ducks and Sharks fans? No chance.

    • @horizonhunter_7296
      @horizonhunter_7296 56 минут назад

      @@btedI mean Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver have all had extended periods of mediocre-to-bad over the last 10-15 years

    • @bted
      @bted 46 минут назад

      @@horizonhunter_7296 Well, ok but mediocrity is not uniquely Canadian in the NHL. Buffalo and Minnesota have never won. The Flyers haven't won in 50 years. My NJ Devils from 2013-2022 were pretty awful which is a ten year stretch, ... although, admittedly, I really can't complain about that franchise. Montreal went to a Cup final fairly recently.
      And, again, if Canadian teams have a disadvantage, it isn't due to the relative "tolerance" levels of the fans. That's just incredibly silly. Fans have no control over their team's roster makeup, choice of coach, much less their actual performance. Zero.
