Good exit out of Parabolica, then down to the Rettifilo chicane. Power round Curva Grande avoid a penalty at the Roggia chicane round the Lesmos power down to Ascari and then off to Parabolica again.
Thank you so much for the lap guides. As someone new to Sport Mode and wanting to get better these videos are a great help in getting faster and consistent. I've got to make time to post a qualifying lap tonight before the update falls since I won't be able to race until Friday
Nice video, got me from a 1:53:60 to a 1:51:21 qualifier time, and I hit my first podium today too. Big thanks. Would love to see this for next week's track.
Great been waiting on this , the Bathurst guide saw me been go faster than ever before normally at Bathurst my time is around 2;05;00 but with guide nearly did a 2;02. (2;03;49). Thanks Kie your guides are making me faster and consistent shame I don't have time to race.
I saw in-stream that Calster prefers to short-shift the Subaru. That may be worth trying for the 46.5 you were originally aiming for. Great guide, as always. I love the level of detail you go into with them, even talking about downshift timing, which most don't expect to make any difference.
I actually shifted like him on this lap 👍 it’s not really going to make much difference as P1 in World is not short shifting at all, lot my time lost is probably due to streaming and reading chat my brain crashes when trying to push and multitask 🤣
@@thekie25 Gotcha, thanks! I watched this lap in-stream and for some reason hadn't noticed that you had dropped shift RPM. To your point, I was surprised to see any discussion on the topic with a car that has such a flat torque curve.
Hi there Kie, have come across yourself via watching Super GT and pleased to find your channel/ content etc and have subscribed! I see you did a setup for this weeks Autopolis and wondered if you had one for this weeks Monza. Thanks 🙏
I played my first ever online race after you posting your interlagos guide 9 weeks ago which gave me the confidence to go online. Since then, your guides have gotten me from E to A+ DR. I know the guides aren’t the best viewed content but know that they’ve been invaluable to me and I’m sure many thousands of other players who enjoy the game more because of them
Thanks a ton for the guide. I wish that GT7 would still have the voiceover tutorials for Circuit Experience like in GT Sport, it’s much easier to learn tracks this way
I was using the porsche for this but its a mare on GT7, changed to the Beetle and shaved off 1.5 secs and got up to DR B now, noticed everyone is using the WRXI in the higher lobbies, will give these tips a try tonight and see how i go....
Nice!! So why no pen at the end of the track? I always keep 2 wheel on the track for fear of getting a pen? Weird track limits I guess.. thanks again Kie!
Thanks kie mate for another really helpful track guide 👍 your track guides have really helped me with my lap times and overall driving skills so thanks again kie see you later on the stream have a good day bro 😀 👍
The Penalty system is really bad, I did my 1st race here last night and in the 1st 2 laps acquired over 7 secs of penalty whilst fully on the brakes and tapped, and I mean a small tap to the guy in front of me on the chicanes. Ruined my race, but never hurt the guy in front. I think I simple got on the gas before he did and nudged him forward a wee bit!
You don't actually trailbreak into first schikane brake balance to the rear witch means you break in a streight line turn in and than accelerate on the exite other than that you are on point
I was usually very close to top times at Monza on GTS. But, chasing a Top10 ghost on GT7, GTS habits were obvious and hard to break. Also, I don't want to buy the OP Beetle or Subie. But, if I did, which one is best/better?
As an ACC player that has pretty much raced only in monza this feel really weird, those kerbs are so low and breaking points are different aswell, watching you stream this was a bit awkward to me.

I love that you draw the line for us on the track, that helps a lot
Really appreciate these lap guides. I've been struggling finding pace here so you're video has been very helpful

Thanks a bunch Kie, gona try some of your tip here later and hopefully I'll be a bit quicker
Just got my first ever online racing win using this after playing solo racing games for about 10 years. Thanks man!

Also depends on the car you have. I used Mitsubishi to get lap time but used Beetle to race, a big mistake. 🤦🏻♂️
Do you have a setup build for this car?
Thanks kie mate for another really helpful track guide 👍 your track guides have really helped me with my lap times and overall driving skills so thanks again kie see you later on the stream have a good day bro 😀 👍
Great track guide...as usual😉 Thx.
But I still don't understand the track limits in the second chicane. 🤷♂️
Need at least two tires inside the white line on the track
Make sure you leave a like to feed the YT Algorithm 👍🏻

I wonder it this game is still worth buying

You can’t change brake balance on sport mode so yes you do trail brake hence why you can see me trail braking into the apex mate 👍
@@thekie25 Who thought not being able to change brake balance was a good idea? Yet another dumb choice at PD...

You don't have to buy the cars for the sport mode anymore . You can drive every car for free and try for yourself which car suits you best.
@@gawith78 that's right! Forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder.🍻

Don’t take too much of the sausage or you’ll get penalized ‼️
🤣
Too much off and you get circumsized
ah yes. the race where nobody knows braking is a thing, and can't hold their line lol. still fun though
