    Thank you so much you're really amazing but I still didn't understand what's the relationship between thyroid stimulating hormone and hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism
    Why thyroid stimulating hormone increases in hypothyroidism and why thyroid stimulating hormones decreases in hyperthyroidism shouldn't it be the opposite?

    • @نوراحمدجاسمكاظمجوده
      @نوراحمدجاسمكاظمجوده 2 года назад +1

      I think it has something to do with a negative feedback right? anyone can confirm that?

    • @2ueuphoria
      @2ueuphoria 2 года назад +1

      usually for hyperthyroidism, you have a lot of t3 and t4 bc you have this anti-body acting like TSH like in graves disease, if it acts like TSH, it means it will give you a lot of t3 and y4 which causes negative feedback on pituitary so low you'll have low TSH in reality.
      hypothyroidism can be caused iodine deficiency so you can't form t3 and t4 so your body keeps releasing TSH hence you have low t3 and t4 but high TSH in hypothyroidism
      or it can be caused by some antibody now destroying your thyroid gland so not enough t3 and t4 so again high amount of TSH
