I’m almost 3 months postpartum now and I feel better than ever working out now even though I’m way weaker technically. I’m like, I just went through the biggest challenge of my life with labor and delivery (and recovery!). If I can do that, I can do anything hard. Very empowering

@@Kian_Wolfgang I started off with RUclips videos of PP recovery barre and fitness Marshall dance videos. I had never done either before but it seemed easiest with a baby in the same room! My actual favorite thing that I’ve done so far is go on a jog (90s walking/60s jogging for 20 minutes). Being able to move through the air like that for the first time in a long time felt amazing even if I was slow. Definitely wait until you’re cleared for that though. I didn’t do it until 11 weeks. Also I just did my first barre class back and I really loved it! I left my pride at the door and got baby weights and didn’t go as hard as prepregnancy but it was a good challenge!

Girl first time here. Give yourself Grace. You just had a beautiful baby you still in healing process
If you don’t like it I get it. Work on it, don’t put weight in top of baby weight. that’s a mistake
Just set small goals with healthy eating and walking. you will start seeing a difference
I did that mistake putting weight after my baby’s. 22 years ago from 00 size end up in size 3 and when I realized I was size 14 and I was like nope. Now I’m 41 years old 150 pounds. Feel better then ever. Just with walking, light cardio and clean eating. also got veins because of my mom side of family , it will get better girl you are beautiful

To be honest it is so encouraging and refreshing to see beautiful woman not trying to hide their flaws and owning them! My hips this pregnancy have widened already at 22 weeks and that usually doesn’t happen for me until my third trimester and it is really easy for me to get in my head about it but truthfully it’s beautiful because it’s just what my body is doing to grow this little human 🥰 thank you for sharing this video!

I think some women's bodies change more than others during pregnancy- and that can be due to genetics, hormones, physical activity, diet, height, etc. Regardless, you are GLOWING! I hope you can find your new level of confidence in motherhood. Of course, if you're feeling discouraged about your body, then focus deeper on your health + nutrition. Create an exercise routine that works for you. I have found that if I don't exercise and eat right, I don't feel as confident in myself. It's also my "medicine" for anxiety and depression.

just give your body time, you will start feeling more like your old self in the next couple months! i’m 14m postpartum & maybe 3 lbs more than i was pre pregnancy (without trying to lose weight) but i still don’t fit into my old jeans bc my bones are wider now! don’t be alarmed if you’re not fitting in old clothes, it’s so so normal!

Thank you for posting this and for being so honest about your postpartum body and your feelings. I am 2 months postpartum and last weekend I took my baby to the beach for the first time. Same as you, I was looking back at pictures and was so discouraged with how I looked. All I wanted was a cute family photo and instead I was fixating on how my body (in my head) ruined the picture. Your video was a great reminder to me that I am not alone in how I feel and that we mamas are all beautiful and amazing!! I love watching your videos! Hi Kian. Those outfits look comfortable and nice on you. Warm tones are really great on you. For your belly, you can lay on your stomach for a while each night to help get your uterus to go back to its original size. Taking walks should help with getting fresh air and sunshine and maybe help with any bloating too. I would say focus on your health more than what your body looks like. Enjoy this time in your life. : )

My daughter is 9.5 months old and I’m still not used to my body. It’s hard for me to find time to get any exercise in because I have a full time corporate job that I work from home so I don’t have a lot of time to myself. Im not concerned with losing the pregnancy weight until I’m done breastfeeding because I’m more concerned with fueling my body enough to feed my baby. My body image is getting better but I’m still working on it. Your body went through a major change (and still is) so that’s what I keep reminding myself.

I think you are beautiful in this stage of weight. It is not over weight so I wouldn't worry. People tell me I'm too skinny but I don't gain weight easily. I have chosen to not let other people's comments control me. But if you think you want to do something about your body make it your decision not based on other's negativity. I have heard of a belly wrap thing women used in the olden days to help get the tummy back to it's original shape after pregnancy, which is what I plan on using.
God bless you and your baby💗

Just a tip for any new mommas out there, when I gave birth to my baby I used a belly wrap for 2-3 days right after the birth and it really helped to get everything back in place and my belly went actually almost back to normal after wearing it. I just had the extra fat left on my stomach that I gained but all my organs and everything went back in place lol
They sell belly wraps for that very purpose but I just used my baby carrier wrap and it worked perfectly:) I know it’s an old tradition in many cultures to do that so it’s nothing new!
Also I just want to add obviously there is nothing wrong with having a belly!
It just made me feel more supported as my abs were pretty weak from pregnancy

Still have them! plus more after my son was born. the taupe body suit is really pretty on you!!!!! enjoy that mama belly! it’s an honor to be soft. I heard a mama say her daughter grabbed her belly and said “you’re soft and squishy mama!” and she began to feel negative and then quickly realized that for her little girl hugging her was a soft moment and from that point on she loved that about herself and saw it as a compliment. as a mama 8 years in, I would have loved to go back and just enjoy my soft and squishy body.
