6-7 months old, but eggs are small to start, get bigger with age. They also like certain weather to lay, so in Canada not much eggs in the Winter. More duck videos coming in Season 2
I have not had Muscovys for very long but I did notice that the alpha males cant fly hardly at all where as some of the non alpha can fly just fine. Natural selection at that point. The one that cant fly will breed for a short time and then get eaten because he can't fly away. That will then leave room for the one that can fly.
We have only 3 males with 12 females. Others farmers say that ratio is ok, 1:4, but some have even more females, like 1:9. Mainly have Muscovys to eat the bugs and slugs in the garden and farm

How do u know their genders?
When born, boys & girls are the same size. By 2 months old, the males are bigger than females. Later their faces look different too
