Awesome tamiya mini. I had a few/raced myself several years ago. Once you get a hang of them,they can be pretty nasty around the track with the short wheelbase.

What battery are you using in the M03? The choices seem limited these days, thinking of getting a stick shaped lipo like the Core RC 4000. What are your thoughts?
I had a thin 4500mah one that came with one of the budget trucks I've reviewed in the past, didn't really fit to well. Not many choices, although Gensace do these... not tried them, but they say they fit the M Chassis in the description. Nice mini, this is not tamiya but I had a Mardave Mini stock car and I put a Parma modified motor in it with a 7,2 Nim battery. I was only 16 at the time, the way I set it up was horrendous but it was uncontrollably fast looool
That's a pretty big backyard for living on a island mate. I live in Arizona. It's 1.2 times bigger than England. It's a r/c guys dream. We have every type of environment to run on. Hell, there's still snow on Mount Graham in April. And 90 degrees at the base.
Hi there, if you still have the rear bumper you cut off, maybe you could try to glue it back on with some backing plate, who goo glue and a few nuts and bolts. It was a rareish lol body.

For a few bucks/quid more the DumboRC X6A/B 2.4G 6CH Transmitter with X6FG Receiver with the gyro RX is a really good outfit.
Yes, I've seen them. I think I may have a Dumbo receiver some where that has the gyro.

Just been doing some practice laps.... grass is drying nicely! The mini is a blast! The TA04 is a little bit of a handful!
