    I just got this pen to use with my S9FE, and wow it is fantastic. I have used the S-Pen, and the Noris Digital Jumbo and this has to be the most premium, nicest feeling pen I have used so far. (to me) thank you for the review! I got it because of your awesome content. (the tablet too haha.)

      Oh awesome to hear as I have been using the normal s-pen & the original Staedtler Noris digital with my s6 lite 2020 for 3.5 years now.
      I'm about to receive my S9 FE+ this Saturday and I've been looking into upgrading my Noris to either the Jumbo or the Lamy, especially given that my daily driver fountainpen is the Lamy Al-Star.
      Your comment convinced me: it's gonna be the Lamy!

    • @teohontech7141
      @teohontech7141  Год назад +2

      POM is slightly better if you write a lot because it is smoother hence you can write faster. Softer tip is more control which is better for drawing. Other than that, it’s just personal preference.

    2:16 I think the Z108 is not for glass surfaces but for paper-like surfaces (Onyx, Remarkable, ...). You do not want extra friction from the tip there.

    IMPRESSIVE. I might get one and use it with my Samsung S7 FE. It seems to have lower initial strength needed, that's *great* for shading and subtle realistic painting. Also, the standard S pen side button... it's quite harder to locate while drawing, unlike the ones I have with my wacom tablets. Also, kind of weird when trying to use them fast. This is key for me, as I use the side button constantly to pick color (as much faster and functional than leaving the tip pressed 2 seconds on a spot). Unlike seen in the video, I use my thumb finger for this, so, it's my actual grip position, the finger does not need to "find it" (I have developed this ability of never pressing accidentally; wacom's has some resistance, too), so it's even faster. Having wacom's emr is also a huge positive factor.
    Also... for me at least, the price is right (my wacom pen from 2009 (humongous intuos XL, still works great) finally got wrecked after like 12 years, an identical replacement costed me 80 bucks, so that's my point of comparison). If I get it, certainly will do from your link, thanks. :)

    I just got mine for the Samsung Tab S7. I really prefer it over the original S Pen, simply because of the form factor.
    The original pen is just too long and thin, the Lamy is perfectly balanced, has the ideal weight, and allows for more precise writing. At least for me.
    it also just feels a bit more premium, and the button position is much better.

    Nice review! Very helpful for me as an artist. A bit of a random question, do you know if the Wacom Art Pen is compatible with the Samsung tab series? I heard they have discontinued it but it's the only pen with barrel rotation which is so valuable to an artist.

    • @cammiluna
      @cammiluna Год назад +5

      I have a Wacom One pen for my samsung devices. Initial activation force is about the same as the Lamy, has the same pressure levels, and how the pen is slanted near the tip makes for easier tilt use than the S-Pen/S-Pen pro. Just keep in mind that the Wacom One pen only comes with hard plastic nibs and the felt nib packs Wacom sells for other pens will not work with these. Some people don’t like rubberized tips so it works better for them, but if you death grip your pen on the screen, it’s best to stick with the Lamy.
