As living in the Midwest I love the midwestern niceness when you go to small mom and pop buissnesses and you can sit there and talk to people without having to be quiet and you meet people and nobody’s angry at you for sitting at a bar area eating food talking to locals it’s so wholesome seeing mav talking to that guy in the restaurant made me think about that

I picked up one never again. It was 12 degrees felt bad. Lady kept getting weirder and weird ask me for s3x for money and if I didn't say I was a minor (I'm not just at that moment felt very threatened cause her hand was about to touch me) pulled over and said get out of my car and at that moment I never again did this.

Doesn’t he insulate it? That covers the window so he can flip up the insulation to see if anyone is outside. Tinted windows at night with light you can see the light shining through from the outside but not from the inside.

I have a 2017 tundra. I went back and forth about a topper since I bought it. I finally pulled the trigger on an ARE topper and man I love it. The dog lives riding back there too. I guess if the wife ever kicks me out I can live in there too!
That's nice of you to give him a ride. I gave a guy a ride too when I got off work, heard him say he needed a ride and I offered him one. That was at night and maybe not the smartest thing to do but he seemed nice and he was. I am still alive to this day lol.

That fire at 1:30 is used to burn off excess gas/gas products. When the plant is running at tip top shape there is a small flame if that at all but when they have a problem going on 5they burn it off instead of releasing it directly into the atmosphere

I cant talk for other places, but I've seen enough documentaries on murders and such to not trust strangers in my personal space like that. You have to help from a distance sometimes. I would have bought the guy a bus ticket or something. Plus I work in the ER and A LOT of ppl are off their meds and flipping out. It's scary smh. A lot of ppl just need their meds and therapy but the system is broken and most fall through the cracks.

I pretty much have the exact truck, cap, colour setup with an 8ft box and bedrug . 8 ft box is soooooo nice. I use a 28 inch deep shelf across the back leaving the floor wide open for a queen size down filled futon mattress on the bedrug. Leaves tons of headroom and storage is accessible through the windoors. No semi permanent build as I use this truck for work as a builder. My truck is a 2017 f150 5.0 extended cab 8ft box. May take out the larger section of back seat. Love your vids Mav, keepem comin:)

I have a Silverado with an 8' bed. I wanted the high-rise topper, since I'm 6' 1" tall and I want to be able to sit in it and work on my laptop comfortably and edit photos. (Main reason for the camper top is to go to a location for sunset/dusk pictures, sleep there, then be right there for sunrise pics too) Unfortunately, they don't make the high top for the 8' bed. I'd consider another truck, but holy crap have they got expensive in the last 3 years. I'm a bit frugal as well and bought a U-haul pickup with 8,000 abusive miles on it and some light hail damage. But the cap is going to cost my probably $4K between cap with options, and bed rug. Might get an ARE MX, seems like the most rise I can get for mine. Well off to bed, I've got to get up for the sunrise. Cheers.
I have a Snugtop with win-doors all around, one of the best options but did stay with the cab-height. As I develop my platform/drawer system, will run across the same height issue. Will remember the taller topper on the next truck. Good vid, thanks! Paul

I have a Snugtop with win-doors all around, one of the best options but did stay with the cab-height. As I develop my platform/drawer system, will run across the same height issue. Will remember the taller topper on the next truck. Good vid, thanks!
