Absolutely 💯 I think waylon was the best at playing the hell out of his telecaster I mean wearing it out and it looked like he wasn't even trying either 😅😅😅😂 he could play with such ease it was ridiculous 😅 I love ol Waylon Jennings he's my #1 favorite artist of all time hands down waylon had a sick nasty band in the mid to late 70s they were so in tune with each other damn!!
Doing some pickin near the end right there. No mistaking Waylon's pickin and singin ever . He learned a few things from his rock&roll friends and played the hell out of that country music with confidence on that fender
Look at the steely confidence in this mans eyes!!!!! - the guitar solo by Waylon at the end is textbook COOL country pickin' !!!!!! 12 Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video.Waylon was so much more than the drugs and alcohol he and many others of that era consumed (which was quite a lot) but he was a great performer, great singer, had a sharp sense of humor and was a very under rated guitarist.Even in his later years after losing a foot to diabetes he still enjoyed touring and when he passed away he was preparing to go out on the road.....sure do miss Waylon.
THIS was true outlaw country, performed by a man that "lived" every word he sang. What few songs Waylon never wrote himself, he put "his" sound on. His band was run by HIM, not some asshole from the music industry trying to make the music sound a touch different but basically like the last pop song, whether it be country or rock. That was the true meaning of the outlaws, him, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and more all played as THEY wanted, not how Nashville said they had to. They were the first country bohemians, lol. This music is by far better than the sell out crap on the country stations today,(which is nothing but southern rock), these little turds are even trying to push rap into country, a HUGE no no to us old timers, and not due to being racist, Charlie Pride, Ray Charles, and Darius Rucker are all very talented country acts, very much respected. Rucker by both rock and country fans. Waylon I fear was the last sound in country that was actually what country USED to be, which was Country and Western, and that was killed by trying to change music for more money by Nashville, and greedy producers that can never get enough. I miss him, and will listen to these songs until I hit the dirt.....
Call the look in his eyes what you will..........I see a man with a brilliant mind, a voice beyond compare and the courage of 10 men. Don't diminish his greatness with the cocaine bs..............he was a lot more.
Waylon never get tired of listin to him. Man this guy could play the hell of his guitar and what a voice. Got to see him live quite a few times in the 70's & 80's and for the last time in the early 90's at a state fair in Oh. R.I.P Hoss you were 1 of a kind and your music & legend will live forever.
I wouldn't call Waylon an underrated guitarist, but it seems he is never in the conversation.... Damn shame really... He knows his way around a telecaster to say the least.
Ramblin'man is an American song of the American Waylon Jennings.
Here we are in 2020 and Waylon is still the boss!!!!!
This is country music, not that pop garbage they play on the radio
I really enjoyed waylon Jennings. It's the music that I grew up with.
Saw Waylon twice in person , no one played the guitar any better in my opinion. R. I. P.

What an excellent rendition of one of his greatest tunes
"down in Alabama, they call me the man of joy, boogity, boogity, boogity." classic
I wouldn’t have minded one bit if they extended that jam out a couple ten or twenty minutes. Just to see where it would go.
Hooked on Waylon tunes... thanks for the share!
