Most of the people with negative comments are not subscribers, just block them from commenting! Trollers can cause a lot of headaches and they will continue if you let them, its your reactions and your replies to them that they like to watch. Block them! Please! The curved steps are fabulous, Dave’s done a great job, and your wall looks great. The Velux window will make a massive difference to the mezzanine and will , hopefully, throw some natural light on the stairs.
I’m glad you’re rethinking the colour of the “lilac” house, it’s always looked more like Barbie pink to me.
Yeah barbie pink, it’s not far off isn’t it.. haha! I think the outbuilding will be our favourite transformation out of them all :)
Good afternoon Matthew firstly if I may make a suggestion yes it’s nice and lovely that you read every comment and reply where the comment needs it but a lot of creators have a known cut off time for replies so they’ll respond to comments for the first 3 hours after the video was uploaded but it varies upon the number of subscribers/ watchers some are only an hour after uploading the video but they are getting up to 3000 comments in that hour! They have nearly 1mill subscribers and they put out a video every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning at the same time. This is something that you could aim for is new video every Saturday night at a set time you can upload it whenever and put a set time for its release so if you are at home Friday night and get the video edited and ready you can still upload it and know it will be live at the correct time then give a 24 hour time limit for replies . 😊😊😊😊
Now the houses are looking great and you have and are learning a lot in this first total renovation for the rental market you’ve overcame some big problems and used tact and guile to some that totally paid off and at the same time taught a lot of your viewers a trick or two. Then you’ve championed a few bits too like them rock walls in the back garden look brilliant and once you’ve acid washed them they will look like new if you wish to age them then get some natural plain yogurt and lightly paint it on the rock faces and in a few months they will start looking like they have always been there as moss and lichens start to grow on them. Well done on building them and the annex looks amazing with all you’ve managed to get in there and give it its own character brilliant job and Dave the Rave has done exceptional work and is a gem to keep close.😊😊😊😊

Don't get bedding plants...they only last one year, look pretty but then they all have to be pulled out when they are finished...instead get herbaceous perennials...these can be flowering plants or have attractive leaves and will come back every year...just a bit of what I hope is helpful advice...if you go to any garden centre they will have a section of these types of plants.
this keeps weeds down as well and gives an all round look to garden. Lavendar is easy,

Consider putting a clear stain on the wood. It will blend with any color someone may want to paint later. I love wood accents. Love the stone wall! Can't you leave the wood panels natural? Once you paint them you have to keep painting them. But what do I know about Europe?
Yeah I’m seriously considering leaving the panels original.. I’m quite pleased with the wall :)

Great progress! I really like the change in the outside steps. I too learned through experience that good preparation prior to painting is many times worth the investment of time versus the work of cleaning up overspray, etc. It can be difficult to have the discipline to put off your desire to "get it done" in order to avoid perspiration generated from lack of preparation. You are doing great, keep at it!

I’ve got a grandad two tone going on, they’re sun bleached from Turkey but now growing back.. looking to go for the tomahawk curled effect.. might take me 30 years though 🤣🤣🤣
Hi, I'm not sure about acid washing the lovely rock walls. You went to the trouble to have them compliment traditional construction. I'm thinking they would blend better with the walls along that back road if you leave some of that moss and lichen on. Acid wash will make them look brand new but you will most often be viewing them from the road not the house.

Here in the Ststes some of the paint manufacturers have paint chip "collections" where they have colors that will work together. That would give you a guide whether to go darker or shift the tone to more red or terracotta. ( Helped me look like i knew what i was doing and had a professional consultant).

I like the colors, but more subdued and less pastel, would look better. I feel like those are colors that look good in Florida, or the Caribbean.
But, I don’t live in it, so as long as you are happy, that is what counts.
