Each to their own, I agree it is a bold move and not for everyone.. there no exterior paint for the next project that will make a change haha! Took me weeks to pain that.. Yeah cost and very limited budget, second hand black doors.. ideally if I could afford I would have done wooden cottage doors.. and white glazing is the cheapest but doesn’t look out of place :)

The craftsmanship is second to none, if I do say so myself! Yeah personal preference and mixed reviews.. abit of colour to the area is not uncommon.. although most are grey :)

@@thomasarfonwilliams6254 it bothers me that you think young people are so poor.. I see a young generation of hard working professionals making something of themselves.. The property was bought for £90,000 cash. Because it was in a derelict state of condition and un-mortgageable meant I could afford it either.. I put my house on the line, used bridging finance and investors cash and have done allot of the work myself to pull this place back together 👍🏼

@@thomasarfonwilliams6254 I don’t normally engage in such negative conversations but for those who live and work in Anglesey this is a minority. I too am a nationalist. I respect and uphold welsh traditions, I have touched in the topic many times.. My mother side is welsh but because I’m not born here I don’t identify as it nor is it my native tongue. Since being here I’ve learned very basic welsh as I find it difficult. I’ve contributed to the community by bringing something rather than taking and will continue to do so.. The last 9 months I have spent tens of thousands on local labour promoting local businesses. I haven’t had anyone who wasn’t English treat me with any disrespect. I understand why your frustrated, as are we all in the state of our country is declining. Don’t hate me for a generation beforehand, I can’t say in your lifetime it certainly in mine there has been no wars or animosity between countries and it’s a generational curse that needs not to be forgotten but not to be passed on 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Thanks mark! Yeah breakfast bars, they’ll be high stools.. it’s mainly space but if it’s a nice day there’s benches in the garden with patio heaters and an umbrella haha! I may have to include tv dinner trays haha! Bunk beds are a squeeze, just about get them in width ways.. But quirky and cosy is what I’d describe haha

I do agree with you that that this may come across as arrogant. But when met by aggression it was something I suggested to deescalate the situation at the time. The fact they didn’t own it as a bullying tactic since later come to light. In all honest, it’s coming from a place where I didn’t actually have any money to give? I’m totally skint! I don’t have pots of cash to throw around, I too have worked day and night for the last 10 years to bring this vision to life. I have risked everything to start a business go better my life. You don’t like people who come to buy property on the island who arnt local. I respect that, you want to keep traditions. I agree with that also. I’m a nationalist I respect the welsh way of life, the community and the history. Im learning your language, I’m respectful to all neighbours wether they agree with what I’m doing or not, I’m providing local employment for the development & management. I’m bringing something to the island rather than take it away. Regarding house prices, there has been a massive increase across the whole of the United Kingdom. Yes people are struggling, yes house prices have gone up but that’s none of my own doing. Regarding the housing supply, there are 35 new affordable homes being built within the village. There has previously been a development in the last 5 years. There are houses still on the market from last year when I purchased this house. An open conversation for all to see, agree or disagree everyone’s entitled to their own opinion

Wow that’s crazy, there is some shocking parts to our history but I’ll do my best to make it right in my time on the planet.. My grandads brother left for Canada back in the 1940’s.. there’s quite allot of distant relatives in Canada.. Oh haha! @@matthewadamsofficialcheers but don’t live in the area. From Yorkshire but go there every year for a break and have stayed in Bryn before. You’d probably pick up some nice pictures etc from antique shops on the island or eBay. Keep up the good work.
