Hey great list, might actually try some of these. Consider removing the ‘swaying’ effect though, its just making things harder to look at.
Why did you put the screen shaking effect on the video?
Tbh at this point the rom hacks are more fun than the newer Pokémon games.

Arceus and SV are still insanely good compared to the usual formula

I saw that Voyager was last updated on 2022. Anyone knows if it's still being actively updated on or any news of discontinuation?
For the myboy users: pokemon scale x fang is kinda buggy on it. Theres alot of features that make the game freeze when used, such as opening the trainer card. Its kinda disappointing cuz its where i always play :(

LOVED the demo for Pokémon Crown, I think it is a fantastic breath of fresh air in the fan game community
If there was one thing I could change about the game is to make it less hard.I hated fighting the first gym

No it's not, started this game because of the recommendation in this vid. Super cool game but only content till gym 1 (which is more content than it would seem)

When rom hackers make better games than gamefreak itself. They really gotta use their budget for something good man.
There's a reason greed is a sin, after all. Hopefully they'll start properly funding the games soon
They do! They use their budget to make plushies, accessories, the card game, the anime, clothing, and rush the games out because they simply don't care about them anymore, they make more money from the rest of the stuff. Sad as it is, the Pokemon company isn't immune from greed as Kwayke said. They've forsaken the very foundation of their success for dollar signs, sad stuff.
The worst part is that it for the most part isn't even Game Freak's fault.
I mean, you try pushing out content year after year with almost no chance of delays and see how long you can keep that up.
I really enjoyed Pokemon Voyager. Hopefully the creator will be able to finish making the game someday. So far from what I've been able to play it seems very well rounded and put together! Very nicely done!

ive played pokemon emerald rouge for 221 hours the game was very fun to play!
I spent ages grinding it right before it got popular and ended up being first to complete all the quests and some of the initial speedrunning but it gets boring after a while IMO, just not enough variety in the routes and trainers for me, would be nice to have at least some of the Kanto and Johto trainers/maps

@@blablablabla3878 Only took me just over a hundred lol. Chose not to use speedup since some other dudes were racing me to it but would've taken no time at all like that. Besides, this hack has some of the highest replayability of anything. It's just a bit bland

There's also Pokémon Crystal Clear set in Kanto and Johto. You can travel wherever you want and catch 251 Pokémon from first and second gen. It's a great hack rom
Crystal clear is great but I imagine he's mentioned it before. I love that game so much, probably my favourite from hack

These roms are dope but I just can't get into the fusions and Fakemon I think they just over due it and are wack. But atleast they are free to play
I like infinite fusion because it's all about you coming up with creative combos. But for the most part I agree, the fusion games aren't as interesting.
The fakemon ones are either all fakemon in a region, which why not just release your own game at that point? OR they look really bad. I am really liking the alternate types of classic pokemon though. I like the fan regional variants the most.
And here i just want a hack that takes place un the orre reigion

Yo mate can you recommend any good roms with trainer Red or something set in Kanto, I know it's really cliche but I just love the region.
@@pariahpariah7048 I highly highly recommend Team Rocket Edition. You start off as a grunt in the organization and work your way up the ranks, you can steal pokemon from trainers and even gym leaders! The story runs parallel with the firered/leafgreen games with plenty of twists and it had me hooked!

How come there arent any "romhacks" of the newer games? Like pokemon ruby made for the switch using the lets go engine? Since a lot have been made from the fire red. I know nothing of the way to make the games. But i would love a sword and shield with all gen pokemons or something
It's impossible to make rom hacks of the newer games, especially the switch games

Emerald Rogue is finished and R.O.W.E is also completed :) there are a few more in here that might be completed I just cant recall of the top of my head ^^ I could make a video of completed games aswell!

You should have shown some of the autobattler since thats kindof the main draw with crown.

Bro really says “it’s a little bit different from your normal pokemon game” to EVERY SINGLE ROM HACK. Not only are they VERY different, but he is barely adding anything besides explaining what the game is 💀
