And you always want the switch to the lift gate in the off position if it's not in use, right? For some reason I saw a rental listing where that was stressed. So I'm guessing if you don't, it can cause problems with it.
Did you there taking the switch off and check the wires? You might be able to switch the wires just to see if it's the down part of the switch and hope it is that well be the cheapest fix. A new pump runs about 600 to 800
@@aroundthecornertrucking6433 no they didn’t just have us a whole new system but the tech support from the company that makes it said it was the right solenoid going bad which controls the downward motion
I don't know what's wrong with it, but if it weren't for the warranty, I wonder why you'd have to take it, to get it fixed. It's just with engine problems you have to take a Hino to a Hino Dealership to get fixed right? Lift gates can be fixed anywhere, or no? I might find myself in the same situation one day...
You got to call bro I see after dealing with it people be super late she emailed me two day after my truck was fix and I had the truck to tell me to go pick it up girl I’m in the road already lol getting to the money lol

Do you know how to use a multimeter? Check the solenoid for the downside pressure.
I don’t but I’m learn yeah the tech support said that’s what it was but Penske pay for a whole new setup so I can’t complain
Maybe it's the lift gate switch. I had a similar problem. I couldn't go down but could go. Up. Replaced the switch.
