THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL STREETHUNTER WING, it is a replica. I’m merely showing you how to install it. Doesn’t matter to me which one you buy, the forums and fb groups are filled with mixed reviews on both, spend your money how you would like. PS: After this video I ordered this thin black foam for the top carbon piece that meets the end mounts. The foam closed all of the gaps, If you do this wing..trust me and order this foam. Honestly, to each it’s own.
The benefits of a down force at dangerous high speeds which would end you in jail, prone to accidents (and possibly sued in case of property damage) and/or death; would not motivate me to install a wing. Conversely, if you installed it just for looks, like we say in Spanish, “ son otros $20”
From my perspective, I would not alter the Supra’s original design.
I have a little gapping like you do but in both sides. Should I sand down the wing a little on both sides?
What size drill bits did you use for the holes in the trunk, it wasn’t mentioned in the video
What did you do with the holes in the car when you sold it ? I don't have the balls to drill holes, never can go back.
Is the black plastic on the underside of the trunk removable to where you don’t have to drill through it?
I’m sure you could remove it if you’d like to. Holes in the bottom don’t bother me, for some that extra effort might be worth it
I bought my car with a knock off wing on it im trying to replace it today but they somehow installed it under the plastic and I cant figure out how to get to it

@@henrytruong9497 this is exactly why I installed this wing. Facebook groups and forums are filled with people complaining on fitment of reps AND original. At the end of the day, consumers will go after what the wing is worth to them. I’m only trying to give people insight and show them an option for installing
Honestly I was/am super disappointed with how my came out I spent $1800 with tax on my streethunter wing and the fitment is not what they claim it to be not to mention the fact that the hardware isn’t stainless. And now since the fitment isn’t perfect, my trunk gets water buildup. And yes I actually have a Supra and streethunter wing, not a troll. IG @a90_lou

I’ve heard this before. This is a rep wing, but the gaps really weren’t bad at all.
@@ThicWhips Ive noticed alot of groups say the replicas fit better. I didnt look into FB groups until after i already got mine. I shipped it back, they are working with me about returning it
