This episode was very special to me as I have raised Akita dogs my whole life. Thor the Akita and I watched this together! Thank you from Colorado USA 🐕
It's wonderful to hear that you and Thor enjoyed the episode together! Thank you so much for watching and for your lovely message from Colorado. It means a lot to know that the video connected with you, especially as an Akita lover!
Japan is so beautiful. The sky, so blue! And the trains... just perfect. Seeing them speed through the station is awesome. This was a wonderful journey for me because I'll never have the opportunity to visit Japan. Thankyou!!❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed the journey through the videos! It's wonderful that you could experience a bit of Japan's beauty and the thrill of its trains. Thank you for your kind words, and I hope to bring you more experiences in the future!
Dear friend, I derive immense pleasure from watching these videos as they have a remarkable ability to uplift my spirits. I sincerely hope that you continue to embrace life with utmost enthusiasm and make the most out of every moment. Perhaps, in the future, our paths will intertwine, and I eagerly anticipate that day. Sending you lots of love and wishing you safety always.
Dear friend, thank you so much for your heartfelt message. It's truly uplifting to know that the videos bring you joy. I too hope our paths cross in the future. Stay safe and loved!
Great video as usual! Beautiful views from the bullet train. I love how everyone dresses conservative , are polite, quiet & respectful. Everything we lack in America. Continue your great content!😊
The bullet trains looks different from the one I took to Osaka. I love your videos. Thank you. They make me homesick for your wonderful country. I’m from California. It’s okay…you have your basis. That’s plenty good enough. I remember Children’s Day! I was traveling by train on that day one year and saw all kinds of colorful fish flying.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos and that they bring back memories of Japan! It's interesting how different each Shinkansen can look. Remembering Children’s Day with the colorful koinobori must have been a delightful sight while traveling by train. Thank you for sharing your experiences!
Its just amazing the beautiful scenery you see, just by riding on a train. I won't know what train to pick , so I'm going to pick all. Yes I also would love a sink like that at home. The Bento boxes , they all look yummy 😋. I hope you enjoyed your time in Akita. I'm sure you got sovereign. I can't wait to see where we're going next.😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's truly wonderful to experience such beautiful scenery just by taking a train! Picking all the trains sounds like a great plan. I'm glad you liked the bento boxes-they are indeed delicious! Thank you for your excitement about the journey, and I'm thrilled to share more adventures with you soon!
As usual, I really enjoyed this video. The speed these trains travel at is amazing and the price seems very reasonable for the distance travelled. While fast, they still allow you to see the scenery which you miss when flying. I loved seeing the rural scenery. Japan shares many similarities with my country (New Zealand), agriculture, mountains, earthquakes, volcanoes and being an island nation. Thank you very much for sharing.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and appreciated the balance between speed and scenic views. It's interesting to hear about the similarities between Japan and New Zealand. I look forward to sharing more with you!
I really love watching your videos. I feel I will never get to visit Japan, but I get to through your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. I have been watching for a long time now, but I don't comment much. I'm grateful for your input in the videos, especially the cost of things. If we were able to go, we would understand the cost.
Thank you for watching and for your kind words! I'm glad my videos can bring a bit of Japan to you. It's great to know the information is helpful, especially regarding costs. I hope you continue to enjoy the content!
I'm glad you liked the speed shot! Riding on a train like that is definitely an exhilarating experience. I hope you get the chance to experience it someday!
Loved this video. I'm so surprised at how many Bullet trains are in Japan, it's certainly a very advanced country and so very clean. Loved the shot of the trains going through the station, took my breath away.
Thank you for such a heartfelt message! It's incredibly rewarding to hear that the channel makes you feel included in the experiences. Much love back to you in Australia!
Hello again! Thank you sir for making these videos, and I would like to Meet you in the future one day. I’m glad to be a subscriber of your channel, and its really entertaining. Hello! Thank you so much for your kind words and support. Meeting you would be wonderful! I'm thrilled you enjoy the videos and find them entertaining. More videos are definitely on the way!
What a wonderful video, such a beautiful country 🥰💞 I loved the turquoise train both trains are so sleek and beautiful. Thank you for another great video xx
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the video and the trains. Your support means a lot to me. See you in the next one! 💖
Woah look at that train 😁 beautiful train station the country side is amazing , your bento box was a good choice 😜 wherever you go take us along😎 lunch look great yum 😝 well thanks again for another awesome video ✌️🥰😘
Wow, thanks for the enthusiastic feedback! I'm really glad you enjoyed the train, the station, and of course, the bento! I'll definitely keep taking you along on my journeys. Thanks for watching! 🚄💖
23:08 - Is that "Shinkalion E5 MkII OX ALFA-X?" Not familiar with the anime but I do have all of the DLC for Super Robot Wars 30 and that happens to be one of the new series added. Another great video, can't wait to see where we go next!
Despite it turning cloudy for the second half of the trip the view you had was wonderful. The bento you got looked delicious. Those masks at the station were a bit frightening but nicely made. The dog was cute A great experience.
I think I would gain so much weight I lived in Japan. LOL! So many delicious foods. I always try to guess which bento you will pick. The scenery from the Shinkansen (sp?) is so lovely. What a great way to travel.🙂
My wife and I watch your videos and talk about them all the time. We check every day for a new one! We just wanted to let you know that we love them all and you do truly excellent work. Just let us know if you need any Experience Taylors, SC, USA videos and we will try to provide! 🙂
EJ, I'm already planning my next trip to Japan. It's really helpful to see parts of Northern Japan. I know lots of people are concerned about over tourism in Japan. So it is really useful to be introduced to places beyond the "golden triangle" of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto so we can act better as conscientious tourists. Thank you for your guidance!
Ahh these bullet trains are so dreamy for me. Even just the train station is like museum, you get to see this Japanese technology. But I think I'm goin to die in an ALFA X train at 360 kph😵💫 EJ, you have no idea how we envy your life! Lol showing your Hayabusa chopsticks 😄
Haha, thanks for your comment! The ALFA X is indeed thrilling-hopefully not too thrilling! I'm glad you enjoy seeing the little glimpses of Japan through my adventures, including those Hayabusa chopsticks. More to come!
Maybe you could visit lake Tazawa in a future episode! The scenery just before there was stunning and beautiful! Also, I studied Japanese language in high school and early college. At one point I almost went to Akita International University. I’m still sad I didn’t get to go there for my college studies, but was too expensive for me. Still hope to visit Japan someday!
This video was interesting, the bullet trains look awesome and they go really fast get to your destination. Looks clean and comfortable to ride, I saw that now your using your Hayabusa chopsticks and that's nice, it goes well with your bullet train ride 😅. Loved this video ❤❤❤
Thanks for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and noticed the little details like the Hayabusa chopsticks. Hope to see you in the next one!
Great trip. I like the design of Komachi and Hayabusa, because the design is unique and anti mainstream, even Alfa X is great, can't wait for this train running for regular service. Train Decoupling or Train coupling moment is something not to be missed, no matter it's high speed or conventional one. Correct Me If I Wrong, Komachi can running on Conventional Line, in this case to Akita. I don't know between Morioka and Akita is connected by high speed line (not train, because the train already here) or still at Conventional Line? Also where this train doing gauge changing, since Conventional Line in Japan is narrower than High Speed a.k.a Shinkansen Line.
wauuu i like itt ,thanks so much i will use it when living in japan and help them to increase they real ability in world ,so many best think you country make it since i was born
Thank you so much for your enthusiasm! I'm glad you found it useful and inspiring. It's wonderful to hear about your plans to contribute positively while in Japan.
I'm too scared to fly, so these videos are the only way for me to visit Japan (literally the only country I would love to go to!) I'll keep learning Japanese in the hopes that one day I'll get the nerve to fly
These trains look wonderful. They are so clean and well appointed. I wonder about one thing - are the windows a bit small? But I guess you get quite a good view from your seat?
Thank you for the compliments! The windows might appear small, but they actually offer a pretty expansive view from your seat. It’s designed that way to enhance the experience. Glad you liked the trains!
It would help if you had the other matching pair to go with them, then you can say that you rode on both and have both chopsticks. Australia doesn't have a lot of trains, Victor there is the Puffing Billy which is an old steam engine that is maintained, The Indian Pacific which goes from Sydney to Perth via Adelaide (route is also available in reverse), The Great Southern which goes to Adelaide to Brisbane (route is also available in reverse), The Ghan which goes from Darwin to Adelaide, Adelaide to Alice Springs or Darwin to Alice Springs (routes are also available in reverse), and the Spirit of the Outback which is a sleeper train goes from Brisbane to Longreach (route is also available in reverse). I haven't gone on any of the later ones as Puffing Billy is one I have gone on during a primary school trip
Bullet trains are so cool! Even though it's supposed to look like a Ferrari, Komachi's face kind of reminds me of a dragon for some reason. Very pretty! And Hayabusa has to be one of the most perfectly-named vehicles ever. Also, am I seeing things, or are the little characters on the guardrails at 22:39 and 23:44 meant to look like the trains?
Bro, once all that lovely food at 20:15 you ate, goes out of 'fashion' in Ireland and supermarkets forget ...THEN we lesser mortals can afford , Cuz they know , so charge big time for us to even sample 😉 Thx tho for reality eating Also why was the shoe polish 'KIWI' brand , called 'Cherry Blossom' , it was black, but fr protected my Dads work boots, our black school Shooz' When uniforms were staple😮
Ughhhh I really want to travel to Japan 🇯🇵😭😭 I keep torturing myself by watching every single video that has to do with Japan ( but I also do it to educate myself on the culture in general ❤️ ) I’m too broke 😂
Question for you, can you make a video of the different cities/regions of Japan and the differences? I’d love to visit but trying to plan a week or two vacation is overwhelming. What does each region have to offer? Do you have suggestions or must visit areas? I read so much on Kyoto, Tokyo, and Osaka, or up near Sapporo, but not sure where to begin. Your help would be awesome.
The trains are so cool. That new one will really be amazing. In the USA. I don't think our passenger trains have gotten any faster than they were in the 1800's. This is the first time I've seen a snack trolley on a train. Are they on all trains or just this one?
I'm glad you found the trains cool! The snack trolley isn't on all trains, but it's a common feature on many long-distance routes here. It’s a fun little addition, isn’t it?
Japan has the world's very best passenger train network, commuter train network also. I visited Tokyo & Yokosuka in 1984 when I was in the U.S.Navy on my second Westpac cruise.
You got that Hayabusa chopstick when you went to the Railway museum at Kyoto!!! edit: and i'm also excited for the new shinkansen!!! i wish it could come for commercial operation sooner!!!!!!!
Morioka station may be getting famous lately, because Nobara's first appearance was on the shinkansen at Morioka in the anime Jujutsu Kaisen. By the way I think she was on the red car because its seats are yellow as I remember. 😉
in nz our trains are 60 year old ex engine pulling 75 year old carriages, lol. rail cares would be more efficient i think. but our rail way is operated by people who dont know what they are doing.
"The weather is so beautiful" - me at the blue skies [hmmm OK] "The weather is getting worse" - me at the cloudy skies [Give THEM TO ME!] Currently we are having an extraordinarily hot weather.
You said there's a new Line opening that has the potential to get up to 400kmph why do I have a feeling you will take it? Also there's something I've noticed watching your movies, it's that every station you go to usually has some kinda of Cultural/regional display and that to me is so cool! Though when you where going into the mountains near to Akita All I could think about is how beautiful it is. Thank you for taking us along with you on your Journey!
Although I'm from America, I cannot eat any Asian food without chopsticks! It's sacrilege...and it just doesn't taste as good (kind of like how you say a bento tastes better on a train, lol). I bought me three pairs: one for the kitchen drawer, one for my car, and one for my purse.)...I got them all titanium 'cause I didn't want them to break down, but they're a little light sometimes and I wish I had paid more attention to the weight of them...never knew it could make a difference :). My favorite color is RED, but I do like that turquoise green...be pretty cool if I can find 'train' chopsticks!
This episode was very special to me as I have raised Akita dogs my whole life. Thor the Akita and I watched this together! Thank you from Colorado USA 🐕

Not crazy at all! That sounds like a unique and thrilling dream lol Thank you for sharing your thoughts and enjoying the video!
** New side quest unlocked** I WILL ride every train that has a matching set of chopsticks and I'm not sorry about it! 😂😂😂
That’s a unique quest! I hope you find many matching sets. Enjoy the rides!
could you do the E3 next? or if its already been done can i have a link?
in nz our trains are 60 year old ex engine pulling 75 year old carriages, lol. rail cares would be more efficient i think. but our rail way is operated by people who dont know what they are doing.
"The weather is so beautiful" - me at the blue skies [hmmm OK]
"The weather is getting worse" - me at the cloudy skies [Give THEM TO ME!]
Currently we are having an extraordinarily hot weather.
