The coin purse you got was SO CUTE! And another wonderful train! it looked so nice and cozy! Also i told my GF I learned a new word, Hinotori! Nagoya Castle looked AMAZING, and I am soon gonna read it's history! (I love things like that!) The Waraji Katsu meal looked so YUM! I now have to try to see if any of the places around me make the dish! Thank you for another wonderful video, and stay safe in your travels dear friend!

Every time I see something new in Japan, the more I am determined to visit. I'm quite old and the clock is ticking down the minutes. Hoping to be there for Christmas 2025 through to New Years, even if I have to travel alone!
The tonkatsu looked so good. I have miso soup almost every day and now I'm on a hunt for the perfect miso glaze to make.

In America, there was a car with a Phoenix on the hood. I have two of them and they are called Firebirds. The decal on the hood is of a Phoenix which in Indian legends is supposed to rise from its ashes. I suppose the train in Japan is so named because of Japan rising from the ashes after World War II.
