BGram has been playing LIMBO on layouts and early copies since late 2020, he has put over 55,000 attempts into the level so far and his dedication is really showing now. As for the difficulty of LIMBO, nobody knows how hard it really is, since it's quite different than any other level. Playtesters left and right have had many different opinions about the difficulty. Some say it's without a doubt the hardest demon in the game, some say it's top 3, the lowest estimate was a top 5 demon. Guess we have to wait and see, shall we?

That ending is genuinely just ridiculous, I don't understand how anyone can do that. I can't even track it normally and he has to multitask while tracking. Honestly insane I really don't understand how it wasn't nerfed and he was still able to do it. Edit: for people who don't know, the way he picks a key is by releasing his mouse when the right key glows at the end.
I got a question about that part tbh, wouldn't the key be the same for every run? so once he turns out which key it is, he'd just go to that same key every time right?
The movements are deterministic. All of them. You don't have to track the key. You have to know the starting position, and the movements. Lets say you mark the positions of the keys from 1 to 8, and then you mark every position each key ends up after a movement. Once you map out the change in positions, the place where the key goes can snap into your mind from memory. You don't even have to look, you just see the green key, you see the movement, and you know where it ends up. You do that again, and again... You basically have to memorize 8 pairs of 2 numbers ( positions ) for each movement, and every movement can be written like a series of numbers, basically. Multitasking is nigh impossible anyway for some people, you either take the 12.5% chance or come up with memory plans. The ones who can focus on the two at once are a minority. It's random, you can't know the order, but the movements are slow enough that it gives you time to remember what position goes where.

I hope it’s a top 1. it would definitely be the best and most unique top 1 in a long while. The visuals and gameplay is far better than any of the past top 1s in my opinion.
It is very difficult to compare Limbo to the other top 10 levels ngl, especially the current top 1, which is basically the exact opposite of Limbo, requiring pure skill and luck as opposed to memory. A very safe guess would be top 5, though exactly where comes down to subjective interpretation
So hyped to see this get closer to being out, this level is amazing :o Also, I'm really curious how the "anticheat" you mentioned at the end works. If it's just a pillar so that you die if you unpause after looking back at a video, can't you still pause at 1:35 right as the pillar shows up and then only have a handful of key moves to look at while the level is auto? Or did you make some more clever solution?
The cycle would be different most of the time meaning that the information will be useless (unless you're super good at muscle memory to keep it the same since they use the standard random trigger [the one that is used by Colon]) I double check the preview and this run and they're in fact different
@@TRealYolodomo I meant pausing right when the pillar is about to appear, looking back at a video of your current run to see where the key currently is, then unpausing and looking at the key from there (which should be easy if you pause right when the level becomes auto). I assumed that's what the anticheat pillar was trying to prevent, so if that's still cheesable the pillar just makes the end anticlimactic for no reason :

There are people in the world for whom a level like this would be harder than a level they can just skill through in 20k attempts. This is a thought experiment, it has NOTHING to do with actually having experience with the level. I assume "I can personally see this placing above firework" means "I wouldn't be surprised if it does". They were not trying to judge the level's difficulty. Also read the video's desc carefully. OP goes with the ride and would not be surprised if this ends up very high on the list. They can see why one would think this is one of the hardest levels.

Okay so the last part is insanely hard to track but after playing it in 50% speed it’s pretty easy to get used to the patterns. Insane to think that you’re doing a mini-wave at the same time but I can see the mini-wave part becoming muscle memory and tracking the keys a more peripheral vision thing. So ok I’m confused about the key endings. I remember when you’re supposed to collect the keys, but bgram doesn’t do that. What happened? Is it in line with the multiple endings plot? Or did you just kinda take that feature out
I dislike memory levels but that looks pretty fun, the only question I have is how do you “pick” a key because I didn’t see you hit any unless I’m blind and missed it. And the key scrambler is so fast and confusing and hectic with the gameplay and putting it right at the end seems pretty frustrating ngl.. but that’s not really something you can change and probably don’t care to change, I guess that was just a little rant.. beautiful and fun looking level either way :)

I know that the green glow at the first appearance for the correct key is randomized, but isn't it will be a piece of cake if you already tracked all 8 key before (assuming the key mix order is the same for every level)?. Simply said like you know if the top right key (before mixing) will always become blue key at the end, so whenever the top right key is glowing the answer will always stay blue

like no one saw this lol but I have made a 4-key working version. A bit scuffed but it had the basic concept, im working on a 8 key version and I have written down all the movements and patterns I know of (like how the groups of 4 swap places on the 6th key movement and the keys rotate on the 10th & 19th movement and the top or bottom two keys go to the bottom/top and switch places when it rotates (they don't only do that when it rotates but that is the only key moment that happens when the keys rotate), and other stuff like that)
I'm telling you, when this will be verified, it will be as huge of a thing as with Sakupen Circles, Firework and Bloodbath, or even more spectacular really
