It fit a lot better than expected. I actually have more room than with the stock v6 haha. Exhaust is going to be tricky but it will get done. Thanks man!
Can I install an AUDI A8 (D3f) 4.2L V8 FSI Quattro 6AT (350 HP) engine on Pajero? I want to install a powerful engine and convert a Pajero to AWD all the time like an Audi please answer
With enough time and money anything is possible. The only thing that i would be worried about is that Audi transmission handling the extra weight of the montero. I believe you would also have to mount the engine very far forward in order to get the front axles to line up with the front hubs.
@@evansautomotive307 thank you very much I'll try is something interesting to see your old Montero. It has become strong and competes with the big ones
I would like to run A/C in the near future, but I want to get everything to work before I add in all of the plumbing and stuff for it. If i end up with hood pins, or a hood latch relocation, I could just put the condenser right in front of the radiator.
I have a 92 Montero 4x4 5pd trans that I'm having some electrical/ecu issues and kinda had the truck in storage since. Finding your vids sparked an interest in me doing exactly the same but only difference is my truck is a manual trans. Any differences that you can think of that I'd have to do differently from how your doing it like the wiring?
You would be able to cut out all of the transmission and transfercase wiring! You will need to adapt a speed sensor for the LS to run and drive correctly though
Do you realise that the frame and the body can move a lot? I mean if one edge of the radiator is mounted on body and the other side is mounted on the frame you will damage your radiator when you hit a good pit or bump because the body has play relative to the frame.
yes I do, thats why I mounted it on rubber. I have been offroad a lot, hit a lot of bumps/jumps/rocks etc. No problems at all. The rubber is what saves it.
Nice work, man. You’ll enjoy the extra horses, torque and everything that accompanies them.
Evans Automotive would be in Ga., would it?
Could always opt to go with hood pins instead of the hood latch mechanism. Might save time and simplify things.
Thats what I was thinking, I would like everything to function as it did, but we'll see. Thanks for the suggestion!
Great progress and work man!
Way more room in that engine bay than an XJ :) Looking forward to more. Sub'd

@@lale_alale That will be really cool. Good luck with the build. This one sure is fun and has been doing great!
You going to run air conditioning? Doesnt look like much room for a condenser
