Bought and fitted a pair of Lesjofors rear springs for my 451 and they are the best. I would certainly buy Lesjofors springs for the front if/when I need them.

A beautiful rendition of maverick Wakefield showman extraordinaire, Mike Terry's iconic showstopper "Torremolinos".
Has your Dad considered becoming a Mike Terry impersonator?......

Knocking at rear quite likely to be anti-roll bar drop links, or anti-roll bar bushes. I fitted new shocks and springs to my 450 about 18 months back and it also seems to sit too low now. I have a suspicion that some of the after-market springs tend to sag quite quickly compared to the originals.

Yes! We have some fault finding to do. Links and bushes appear ok. I genuinely think it's the shock absorbers at the rear that have gone the same way as these. They have been ordered 😀

I’d be suspicious of QH parts these days unless it’s old stock from when the original company unfortunately went bust…. the brand name was bought up to flog cheap copy parts to the lazy budget market (like Crosland filters).

Must be the magic price for a pair of QH struts I paid the same for my i10 and then discovered they were made in China anyway they're done about 10k so far.

shouldn't be that difficult to make one of those tools should it? most woodworking tools can cut/bore/tap aluminum. i have a cdi 450 06 in Canada. assuming they are all the same. mine has the two lights in the front grill like yours, which don't act as fog lights, it doesn't seem to have fog lights at all!. they flash when you unlock the car but they act as signal lights. in the headlight assembly, where the bulb closest to the centre is supposed to be, there is the bulb holder but the wire has been cut and sealed off, then inside the car you can see where a wire connector is, but the wires are twisted and taped back on themselves with no apparent cut end. it doesn't appear to be a hack job from a previous owner and 'man builds' a youtuber from Alberta, has the same wiring on his smart cdi with only the large wiring connector attached. assuming it's some canadian car standards thing. would like to do the original (i assume) wiring where the indicators are in the headlights and the fog lights are in the grille. can anyone give me a pic of what the wiring looks like to the indicator lamp in the headlight, or even better, a wiring schematic?

Sadly we don't have a wiring diagram but a good idea about being able to manufacture your own tool
