I like how the Accuquilt used with Sew Can She quilt patterns. It gives you the instructions for cutting out your pieces in strips. And i love the 2.5 die to make my binding strips.
I showed my friend who does wool applique on how to cut wool applique with the Scan n Cut. She used Heat n Bond Lite and rotary blade. Put Heat n Bond down without paper on mat. She was so very excited that she bought a Scan n Cut and rotary blade. She's is in heaven and so are her arthritic hands.
That same thing just happened to me a couple of months ago-I left an event thinking it was over and said-oh, i will get a car wash and I got a call from a friend telling me I won a travel machine and they were calling my name-well I was too far away by then from the event, so someone else got the machine-I certainly did not need the machine, but I never win anything, so a disappointing shocker! Oh well…glad for the winner!
The smoke in the air could be causing your eyes to water.. Even if you don’t see smoke, with all the fires that’s been happening. Particles could be in the air, and that could be an irritant.
I bought my Luminaire 2 upgrade to 3 last year at LB Quilt Show from George,( Moore’s both). Tell him I’m not going to upgrade until you upgrade your luminaire to the Avenare.
not that much waste...and it does speed up the process and all in with a "perfect" cut vs. an occasional slip of the ruler (or lining up the wrong mark and wasting fabric completely!)
Lucky you! I’m on the east coast…bought my Stellaire from Moore’s . Got a free Scan n Cut 325! $500 gift card! Wonderful customer service! Love Moore’s !
You were saying on this segment, about the legit kits at Jo’annes and they still have to honor the orders. I just ordered some storage bins from Jo’ann’s I got a notice instead, “oops” sorry out of stock you won’t be charged for this transaction. So I would think unless they had specified unlimited amounts of kits if they’re out of stock, they could cancel that order? But yes, that is very sad that they have to honor the orders on their kits.

I think Courtney with all brands has information on using wool with the scan and cut

Good morning from the Bay Area!
Welcome to California
I use the Dime Hoop Monster to quilt my quilts on my B770QE machine, The BERNINA handles it with no problems.
Good morning. Hope to see you Saturday at Road :)
Hope you get to stop by the Sew Powerful booth. Wonderful ministry/mission.
Definitely use the rotary blade for wool. We did this in a class at Mulqueen. We used regular embroidery thread
I just signed up for Shabby Fabrics Father Christmas. I am so excited!

I thought that was true with the Luminaire xp3 button hole placement.

I don't have an acuquilt system but I've seen them used and there is more waste with them. But someone with dexterity issues it is probable awesome.

I bought all 3 Babylock machines from Moores. They have great customer service. It’s local for me.

Hi all!! Is the Road to CA a bigger show than Sew Expo in Puyallup WA?
Use 12 wt thread and a 90/14 needle. The thread on top is thick so, slow machine.
Legit kits should have had Keith go on Shark Tank with them. Show them that anyone can make them!
If WonderFil is there at Road, go talk to them about what you want to do.
