I read a very insightful book a long time ago. It is called Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa and I will say Chris is one of those people that will go down in history looked upon like Musashi is today. What an absolute inspiration he is.

In the last olympia prep, the final video had some weird scenes with Chris that I noticed; Heading to the Olympia Venue, there was a clip filmed from distance and Chris had his hands close to Courtney's butt like showing affection and I said, is this dude sex deprived or something but then again, it seemed so passionate and emotional. Then pumping up, Hany said Chris focus, Chris looked so distracted focused on a wall, almost like he had lost his marbles and when he announced the pregnancy, everything made sense.
Last Olympia and a Legacy in Classic Physique. Chris doesn't need to prove anything going into the Open when he has the business and family life anyone would ever work and dream for. He leaves out on top and Classic won't ever be the same without him. I used to say that if Chris Bumstead did not do Classic Physique, the division won't be as popular without him. Classic started in 2016 and only 3 have won the title, it cannot surpass Open bc of having a weight cap.
Chris is spot on, I can tear up the gym at my age of 42 but I am now noticing that I am conserving energy outside of the gym, I just cannot invest it every where. I am now more efficient at tasks because I have to be. I limit everything I do. Dieting down becomes a nightmare
The talk about moving to open is crazy. Cbum 100% should not do open. He should win 10 classic titles and then retire a multimillionaire with fu money. He has a doting wife and a beautiful new baby. He has all he needs.
He doesnt need the Olympia to be a multi millionaire. Hes got raw, revive, and Bum energy. Hes already worth a bunch. And hes already a titled heavyweight pro “open” competitor. Its how he won his pro card. A different prep and hes competitive in open.
The Bulls had Michael Jordan and won 6 titles w/ two threepeats. When you put together a winning team, the last thing you want to do is break it up. C-Bum is amazing. However, he's more amazing with you there. The only way the opposition wins is if Chris goes solo. That's my take.

If you cant see that despite being in classic he earned his pro card in open then you dont understand how elite his genetics are. He doesnt usually off season and he gets on drugs to do prep. Thats pretty elite. I know a handful of pros that maintain and even slightly improve in health phases on 125-250mg of just test.
