My guess is that you'll either have to be an established journalist already, have excellent contacts or at the very least be an experienced driver. I can't see very many garages or car dealerships lending new and expensive cars to someone who has just passed their test. Effectively you're still a learner - even after passing. I'm not saying this to be unkind. I've just learned myself as an older driver. 🤓🇬🇧

The VW Golf R mk 8 is supposed to reach 0-60 ~4 seconds, but in real life you see results either faster or slower than that. (They also don't tell you this, but the actual BHP results of a car vary per unit because of build quality and tuning inconsistencies. Some manufacturers provide an at least value, some give an average.)

I've had my 208 GT for over 2 years and the piano trim is completely unmarked and clean. Look after it and it stays that way 🙄

How can it be slower 0-100 than 208 pre facelift? That car could do 0-100 in 8.7s with 130hp/230nm 8AT torque converter.
