A great compilation of Strasburg RR scenes. I first visited The Strasburg in August 1989 and took videos there in July 1995. Our twin daughters were 2 at the time and did not like the steam whistles. I should try and digitize those VHS-C tapes someday.
At least 4xs yr my son would want to go to Roadside America & Strasburg. We went & had great fun. Sad that Roadside America is gone. The mug will remind us.
@@evanf1293 no, that's absolutely for sure the right answer. I checked the car numbers in my 1970 Era photos of the yellow coaches (painted so for the film "Hello, Dolly!) against the current car numbers. They're the same.
That’s one of my first ever train rides I went to when I was a kid!
I love this video! The 90's is by far my favorite and I wish I could've gone to the Strasburg Railroad in the 90's.

allegheny48 Don't wait too long to do it. You're already pushing the envelope for shelf life on those tapes..

We were just there this past weekend, rode the steamers, was awesome.
Spectacular old footage.
what just a minute. i have this on VHS
Nicholas Medovich I don't think so. All of this footage is mine and was never put on VHS.
fmnut I'm talking about footage from a tape published by pentrex.
Nicholas Medovich So what you're saying is you have a Strasburg VHS tape. But it is not the same actual material I am showing here.
That was a P3 on 8618. She now wears a first gen K5LA!
Great quality video. Thank You.
Love this footage FMNUT, you should come to Manitoba and check out our Prairie Dog Central, we have a 4-4-0 engine built in 1882
Curt Wakeman Visited there in 2000, unfortunately the steamer wasn't running that day.
love the video
Wow! That's Amazing!
GBW locos are still in use i heard
How come we don’t see 44 toner No. 33 in operation anymore?
The trains are too big for it to pull the loads up Cherry Hill.
Ok thanks
It also hasn't been at the railroad for several years.
where is Eugene?
I wonder whatever happened to the yellow coaches they had?
They still have them. Just repainted.
@@fmnut yeah that's probably the right answer maybe
