I played the witcher 3 for a little bit when it first came out but I picked it back up a few months ago beat it and am now playing the expansion packs. very fun game and I regret not playing it back in 2015.
This franchise will stay in my backlog until I pick up the first game or the remake. I think I mentioned how much I liked the world and the lore, but disliked the combat of the first game. I read the entire book series so I have a very good idea who Geralt, Ciri and others are. I'll get to this game. But great that you covered it. Do you wanna complete it? I know it takes 400 or so hours.
I attempted to play the first game (and then a little of the second) and I don't know how ANYONE played the first game with how absolutely brutal the combat controls were. They were legitimately horrible. I doubt they remake it, so I wouldn't let that hold you back from trying Witcher 3. If you haven't tried Witcher 2 yet it's a little outdated by now but MUCH better from a controls perspective than the first game.
@@FacundoCampazzo123 I agree. Why I couldn't get further than the swamp section as I recall. I do wanna return to it after reading the books. I think I'd visualise and understand the world a lot better now. I did plat a tiny bit of the second. Controls felt like the were poorly posted from Xbox 360. I didn't play much over the intro. I have a problem playing a game mid series if there's prequels I wanna get into. They announced the remake of the first game. They are aware how bad the controls are and a revamp is needed. I think the combat will be similar to Witcher 3. Then maybe get the 2nd one redone too. We will see.
Just finished it today, and yes, I must say I do want to complete it, this game is definitely one that is worth playing many times over just for the sake of it.
You'd be surprised, it's a very niche CRPG but I can say I really enjoyed the witcher 1, the only sad part was just how poorly optimized it was, I would definitely play it again tho.
Toussaint in Blood and Wine DLC is the most prettiest location in Witcher 3. Try it, you'll be blown away.
I will!

I can share that feeling of regretting not playing it earlier, it's such an amazing game, but better late than never!

I wipe while standing up, deal with it.
