From the disgrace that I witnessed today. The only thing I need to see is people getting fired. This is inexcusable in every single way. Today the boys gave me reassurance they’re undoubtedly right at the top as one of the main favorites to win the league. English referees again proving they’re amongst the worst in the world
As PGMOL has come out and admitted publicly that they should have awarded Diaz his goal, how is it not simply common sense for the FA to make a rare exception and award the goal after the fact, and award Liverpool the draw that actually occurred in reality.
It’s super embarrassing. How they got that wrong is super awful. It’s gotta be an intentional error. The worst thing is that they make these intentional errors and get away with it. England makes the worst refs in the universe.

In no other major sports league in the world would they stand for this level of incompetence and inconsistency combined with such lack of transparency the way the Premier league does.
Exactly, in baseball umps get kicked out. Its happened in American football club. It happens in a lot of other sports... Yet in the prem the refs are treated as omnipotent gods.
I understand there’s human error but what is the point of the VAR if they don’t get it right. Everyone in the VAR room should be suspended indefinitely and open an investigation against them.
That 👆 game was truly fixed ... THERE HASN'T BEEN A BIGGER DAY LIGHT ROBBERY THAN THAT EVER IN THE ENGLISH GAME ... Even with 9 men, Luiz Diaz was NOT IN A MILLION YEARS offside 4 his goal ... Typical English refereeing cost us heavy ... Tottenham were playing against 9 men plus that Referee in their back pockets throughout the entirety of that sham game ... Every single 1 of LFC players were absolute WARRIORS 💯 ..
Yeah, and the last time we faced Liverpool at Anfield why wasn’t Diogo Jota sent off after kicking Skipp? Oh yeah no one is saying that was robbery. Stop crying
@Fernandodelahoz130 Jone's red card and both Jota's yellows are up for interpretation. Blah-blah-blah...we can agree to disagree with the referee. However, Diaz's "offside" call was a clear daylight robbery. It wasn't even a toe/nail close. Luis was MILES onside.
When a player fouls he gets card/ban. When a manager protests/fights he gets card/sent to stadium. But when referees fail, they hide behind PGMOL/FA. The lack of accountability has reached to a point where we are questioning is it incompetence or blatant corruption.
It’s a PRIMETIME game everyone wanted to watch and the refs are always handing out reds like candy totally ruining the game way too early. It’s a disgrace
It saddens me to know that even the top league in the world is affected by corruption. Whenever it comes to Liverpool VAR is always very strict to every single detail be it tackles or Liverpool conceding goals. But when it comes Liverpool scoring goals, VAR suddenly goes AWOL. Money talks. Man City should be given the title now.
Let’s not forget about Rodri’s clear handball not being given in Man City’s game against Everton in 2021/22. That costed us the title as we lost the league by a point. Shows you what can be done with oil money.
lmao corruption? It was just a dumb mistake that ruined what was a great game between two evenly matched teams. Spurs played incredible football until the sending off - as after that liverpool just sat back in a negative low block (understandably, of course). Anyway, ange is still implementing his system. We'll be 10 times better by the end of the season, and were already playing alright. Disappointing for liverpool, sure, but theres nothing to say liverpool would have won without the disallowed goal or even the sending offs.
@@jord.an6123nothing says also if spurs still gonna win with liverpool disallowed goal stand..just step aside and accept spurs were lucky to win with such bad unintentional or intentional bad refereeing.. spurs won the game unfairly..take the 3 pts but take also that unfairly win..
@@jord.an6123 to be fair, there's been dumb mistakes (the recent Man Utd vs Wolves is a damning one too) for a long time since VAR was introduced but let's not kid ourselves here. how many times Man City have been let off the hook?
The officiating was shocking and if the goal was a goal, then the result should be officially changed to 2-2. A statement is not going to give liverpool points lost to poor officiating
The issue with VAR is how it's being implemented. The whole basis of the system was to eradicate "clear and obvious" errors which is not how it's being used. It causes more errors and controversy. If it's taking 3 minutes and 5 different camera angles to make a decision then it's not clear and obvious. FA and PL need to take a serious look at how it's implemented before it destroys the game.
Again, don't forget the Rodri handball, they tried to kill off Arsenal's momentum last season too, though people forgot that as Arsenal bottled it anyway.
Craig burley is really spot on, what a genius. I think they should get rid of 50/50 tackles. If the ball is between two players, play should be stopped and there should be a drop ball. That is the only solution.
It’s a carry on from last year. Lee Mason was out as VAR ref last year over two crucial blunders concerning Arsenal and in my opinion Paul Tierney was also shocking in that all the games he refereed in Arsenal games, he gave out so many yellow cards it wasn’t funny and the point with him was, not that Arsenal lost too many games at the start of the season he refereed, but that Arsenal weren’t allowed to play the style they had played without his interfering, and the Liverpool game was a great example of that. I think the impact of that poor refereeing was we didn’t go on to win the title.
Make no mistake, City's owners are above the law and have compromised officials. They will win every marginal title and whoever is their main rival will have major decisions go against them
I would peg Tierney as clearly biases towards Man City and it affects his ability to officiate all teams in the title race. Liverpool has had several bizarre Tierney calls go against Liverpool over the last few years. Everton was almost relegated last season because Tierney "forgot" to ask whether Rodri using his arm in the box might be a pen -- I am sure you remember that one. That Arsenal was getting dogged by Tierney is a "Is water wet?" kind of revelation.
Possibly the first time I agree with Nicol, kind of, he managed to ruin the moment somehow (and I am a Liverpool fan). It can not be a red card when there is no intent and the ball carries his foot along. Funny how VAR intervened there, even after ref had seen it and deemed it a yellow.
Keep that same energy when those same Gods readrress this one as well against Spurs, like when you come to Anfield and have to actually play against Eleven men for a full 90 minutes with a half competent officiating crew and no help from incompetent VAR officials. We'll see how much you're crowing then.
Craig is fully in the wrong on this red decision. Stevie is spot on. Jones does not go in studs up or over the ball, he’s hit the middle of the ball with his toe pointed down, them both contacting at the same time causes his foot to roll over. Never a red.
@@joeyp1636 the rule is simple. Clear and obvious error and there was none. His foot rolled over the football. Football is a game of contact and if this tackle is wrong, then so is the tackle on Codey Gakpo?
@@randybtakafor8468 you need to watch the game again my friend. I feel sorry for you. His foot rolled over the football. That was never a red card. Those Refs should be fired
So you're telling me that none of the three people inside the VAR room: Noticed the linesmans flag go up Noticed Diaz's facial expression to the linesmans flag going up Noticed the Liverpool players protesting to the referee rather than celebrating with Diaz Noticed the Liverpool fans stop celebrating Noticed the Spurs fans start jeering Noticed the Spurs players getting ready for a goal kick rather than a kick off As we seriously expected to believe that three people inside that VAR room failed to notice any of this? I'm sorry, no-one can believe that they were that incompetent. It's not humanly possible. They cheated.
Thank you Craig!!! I agree with EVERYTHING you said except the Curtis Jones foul!!! This was treachery!!! This was HUMAN ERROR!!! The COMPUTER and VAR EQUIPMENT was right and the STAFF was wrong and wrongly altered the entire game… We got to give the bosses of all the clubs challenge flags to stop the match for thorough investigation and inspection of questionable calls… If the boss is wrong whenever they challenge then they lose one substitution…
Only in England I've seen so many controversy decisions by referees and VAR official. It hard to believe this is just a simple mistake when bias and incompetence is obvious. Should change the rule whereby football club can sue PGML.
Liverpool are the contenders this year for the title and the Premier League knows it. I don't know what is happening backstage behind closed doors in the football elite, but there have been a lot of bad decisions. And if Man City wins it again and there're a lot of bad decisions until May we'll know why🤷🏾♂️.
Imagine being owners that, as extremely powerful literal King-equivalents of an oil producing country, are literally above the law, and knowing that if you do try your luck compromising refs with threats or bribes, that there would be no legal risk to you whatsoever, that the worst that would possibly happen might be that your club one day gets docked points, but that even that would likely not happen cos you could just throw money at lawyers, and you would definitely never spend a day in a prison cell at all. They are clearly fixing the premier league
It just seems to me that there is something bigger and more sinister going on behind the scenes in the EPL. Diaz goal was denied so quickly without a proper check. I think they will do anything to prevent liverpool from challenging man city for the title.
Liverpool should launch an investigation this match was so biased it purely looked like Match Fixing. Officials can't get away with all the time and not get punished all officials today as well as the FA
My girlfriend was watching something else on her iPad, knows barely anything about the game. Looked up and was like “that’s onside right?” And then they called it offside. Even she knew it was on
I personally dont mind the red cards, but the offside goal is more important, if we really can use that to lift up our spirit and not play reckless, but the referee ruined it all
I think it's time to put something to change the points system... Make the match stands still 2-1.. but give Liverpool 1 point., Tottenham 1 point.. They need to change the rules like that... it's unfair so many teams losing Tittles because of this stupid mistakes.
I don't see any punishment.. the game should've been 2-2... so each gets 1 point... However, they can still do a change like give Liverpool at least 1 point while Spurs get to keep 3 points.. Idc, But they need to do something. @@msimms-ft9yv

Watch the decisive angle! It was a studs down toe poke that saw his foot clamp onto the ball, roll over it then ricochet onto Bissouma's leg. It was a complete fluke in a challenge that was not in the least bit reckless. It looks awful from 2 out of 3 angles that don't show the full picture. The decisive angle clearly shows it was a fair challenge
What makes it a clear red? I have seen many, many worse tackles given yellow or not even whistled. If you think it is a red, I respect that. But on what basis is this "clear" that it should be red? Were the officials just drunk in those previous games? Was Paul Tierney high on heroin when Kane's straight legged foot two feet off the ground slammed into Robertson a couple seasons ago for a yellow card?
Jota's first yellow was a joke, Jones red card was too harsh, Diaz's disallowed goal was a daylight robbery. This isn't incompetence, this is a match fixing and corruption. This is the most rigged game I've watched from long time.
It's never a red. You can see from behind Jones that he makes contact dead center of the ball. The fact the spurs player has his foot a bit lower and the physics of a ball turns it that was is not a red card. Stevie is right, the red is neither for the tackle or the intent, it's the outcome. And then why isn't that the standard always?
Someone needs to be accountable. This level of incompetence is beyond

Bernardo blatantly elbowed salah in the chest, back heeled his shins, and karate flipped him over yet we didn’t even get a free kick. Remember Kane’s awful tackle on Robertson not that long ago….. it was worse than jota’s and Jones’s combined 🤣, he only got a yellow 🤷♂️
And James Milner should have gotten a red after fouling Foden on the counter at Anfield
@@VicFoods-vk9kv why would Milner be booked for a Henderson foul. Are you sentient??? 🤦♂️

At what point do we start to look at the FA and PGMOL as incompetent, if anyone else flubs up at their job this badly theyd be let go of. Whats their excuse now ? What are they gonna do about it ? Its about time they used international referees since they clearly can't get a call a 10 year old can point out. An apology wont fix this, this changes the landscape of the entire league here on.

Nothing is going to change. This is completely in line with how everything works in the UK. Name any oversight that works? Water companies ? Electricity companies ? Schools ? Media ? Everything works in the same fashion...a few private school twats at the top creaming profits and no concern about standards. The FA is the text book case ! VAR cost liverpool league titles in previous seasons and I see why things happened against them💀
Totally devasted by the results...it still hurts how we lost that game. Own goal from Matip but boy did he have a good game only to lose that way. The refs need to start getting punished or next week we are back to another apology
8 - 0 or 2 - 1 = zero points
Ya, I only feel bad for Matip, not in the slightest bit annoyed etc. He was brilliant4 and look, he was knackered.

They can take heart from that performance and use the anger from the injustice in the next matches.
So, of you want to go ahead and think that getting destroyed 8 - 0 is the same, that's up to you.
I laughed out loud at the replay showing the “offside” they conveniently didnt draw any lines because it would’ve been obvious they were wrong…
There should be a rematch. Officials decided this result, not the players.
Liverpool was robbed and the whole world could see it 👀 Howard Webb should step aside😠 Shambolic refereeing this season 🤬
Klopp should have reference the apology Everton received from PGMOL during the 21/22 season for Mike Dean's failure to award a last minute penalty, (against Rodri) and Man City went on to win the premiership by a mere point. (93 to 92)
Everton didn't get the point and LFC didn't get the apology nor the title...
Nah in NBA the officials are very stupid tbf

Uh you watch the NBA? Gallagher Premiereship?
I understand there’s human error but what is the point of the VAR if they don’t get it right. Everyone in the VAR room should be suspended indefinitely and open an investigation against them.
Yes, what is the point of VAR if they don't get it right? The thing is, In the good old days before VAR that goal is still given offside
@@mikezappayeah, that's why VAR is there you dumbhead!

Blah blah blah. Spurs made chances and Allison was a hero.
Biggest ever ??? Only just started watching football then ?
I think this applies in pretty much all sports where judges/refs don't really face real consequences
This is corruption

Yep. World Cup was paid for as well.
All spurs fans couldn’t believe we got that goal, it was completely onside. Props to Klopp though, class act…

The officiating was shocking and if the goal was a goal, then the result should be officially changed to 2-2. A statement is not going to give liverpool points lost to poor officiating
The integrity & beauty of the game of football is now offically gone
So proud of the Reds today, the team was fantastic in spite of the officials etc performance ynwa ❤️✌️

Liverpool knows what It feels like now to be in a league with Real Madrid. Referees still have other jobs..
Craig got this completely wrong. There is no way one can control that momentum.
Second rate player arguing with a League, FA Cup, League Cup, European Cup winner Steve Nicol.
Certainly a mandate put up against liverpool. These officials should be out the door and fined
PGMLO can show that error acknowledgment up their ars when Liverpool loses title because of 1 or 2 points
Again, don't forget the Rodri handball, they tried to kill off Arsenal's momentum last season too, though people forgot that as Arsenal bottled it anyway.
Oil prices sky high.not for citeeeee .????
I was furious today with epl officials
The ref needs to resign now- this happened to Arsenal and Brighton last season
Craig burley is really spot on, what a genius. I think they should get rid of 50/50 tackles. If the ball is between two players, play should be stopped and there should be a drop ball. That is the only solution.
If Dias goal as given it may be a different game to the end..
Exactly it will be a different game.
This VAR officials needs to be investigated something is 🐟 🐟 🐟
It’s a carry on from last year.
Follow the money.
The England VAR guys should learn how to properly use VAR from La Liga and the Bundesliga
Imagine how the players feel, imagine how Diaz feels, IMAGINE WHAT MATIP FEELS LIKE????
They all must feel proud and more confident for what comes next.
Players across the board in many clubs need to come out and say that games are clearly being fixed
What tf kind angle var decision is that Daryl England needs to be sacked
Possibly the first time I agree with Nicol, kind of, he managed to ruin the moment somehow (and I am a Liverpool fan). It can not be a red card when there is no intent and the ball carries his foot along. Funny how VAR intervened there, even after ref had seen it and deemed it a yellow.
What happened here was the Football God readdressed some of the previous wrongs done to Tottenham against Liverpool.
Keep that same energy when those same Gods readrress this one as well against Spurs, like when you come to Anfield and have to actually play against Eleven men for a full 90 minutes with a half competent officiating crew and no help from incompetent VAR officials.
We'll see how much you're crowing then.
@@Cbricklyne That's very late in the season and we'll have the league wrapped up by then.

Craig is fully in the wrong on this red decision. Stevie is spot on. Jones does not go in studs up or over the ball, he’s hit the middle of the ball with his toe pointed down, them both contacting at the same time causes his foot to roll over. Never a red.
Craig is completely out his mind calling that as a red card
If that tackle was on you it would be a red card, hey.
That's a reckless tackle and it's a clear red card . He didn't touch the ball

I’m really starting to feel that there are football matches that are fixed.
So you're telling me that none of the three people inside the VAR room:
Noticed the linesmans flag go up
Noticed Diaz's facial expression to the linesmans flag going up
Noticed the Liverpool players protesting to the referee rather than celebrating with Diaz
Noticed the Liverpool fans stop celebrating
Noticed the Spurs fans start jeering
Noticed the Spurs players getting ready for a goal kick rather than a kick off
As we seriously expected to believe that three people inside that VAR room failed to notice any of this?
In tennis you can challenge,
Been suggesting the same solution for years
Only in England I've seen so many controversy decisions by referees and VAR official. It hard to believe this is just a simple mistake when bias and incompetence is obvious. Should change the rule whereby football club can sue PGML.
Casimiro's red card against Southampton last season was almost the exact same as Jones's yesterday. Both were not reds in ky opinion.
This is absolute corruption, this ref should be standing in front of a jury right now.
Significant human error, indeed.
They didn't even draw the lines omg🤦 that's not a mistake... that's corruption
The PGMOL are clearly advised to prevent Liverpool winning the league for the 20th time by the Premier league
Craig vs Steve, the battle we always need 😂😂
This was the only way Spurs were beating Liverpool.

You don’t replace people with machines, you replace them with people who are more competent and if they fail you replace them again and again. Machines are just a help but bad judgement has no way on sports and at this age is a criminal act if it costs some people huge sums of money.
No, you keep the machines but just put competent people in charge, firing all of them at the first hint of a shocking decision
There only seems to a problem when Liverpool lose out ALL teams get bad calls.
You have to give a similar occassion to this then, otherwise your a liar.
only one word CORRUPTION, this ain't no incompetence. I can give better decisions sitting on the couch watching it on the TV.
There is no doubt that’s a clear red card. However the error on the offside inexcusably scandalous
"Today was just a climax of what we fans have been seeing every week poor decisions made by bad referees"
The way Dan sits back and enjoys the tension 😂
Jota's first yellow was a joke, Jones red card was too harsh, Diaz's disallowed goal was a daylight robbery. This isn't incompetence, this is a match fixing and corruption. This is the most rigged game I've watched from long time.
It's never a red. You can see from behind Jones that he makes contact dead center of the ball. The fact the spurs player has his foot a bit lower and the physics of a ball turns it that was is not a red card. Stevie is right, the red is neither for the tackle or the intent, it's the outcome. And then why isn't that the standard always?
