Greetings from Germany. You have set up the enclosure nicely, but a hamster is a digging animal. Give him at least 20cm more bedding at the bottom

I'm not the creator but it looks like they used a white paper bedding (I recommend the carefresh brand) and then put some aspen wood shavings bedding on top for aesthetics

Currently buying some more so my hamster can burrrow
It's really lovely but hamster love to burrow and for them to be able to do that you need to put at least 20 cm of bedding/substrate in their cage. Please have a look at Victoria Raechel, a fellow youtuber, who likes you loves hamsters.

Hi love, I have plenty of bedding. He has 14 inches which is more than 20cm. Hamsters actually need 25cm+ please ask next time instead of assuming.

Please add more bedding hamsters need to burrow
So is there like no depth to the bedding? All that enrichment goes to waste if there isnt any depth of bedding for the hamster to burrow.
She obviously provided bedding can’t u see all the heavy items are on stilts?
there is lots of bedding in there you just can’t see it. Look at her other videos, she provides amazing hamster care! I’d say there’s about 20cm+ of bedding in there.
There is 11 inches of bedding :) everything is set on platforms that’s why it might not look like there is much bedding.
