Im curious after you reduced the wine was it not necessary to add beef or chicken stock?
No need for stock, that's the beauty about this recipe. The meat juices will flavour the sauce.

I love cooking beef cheeks and this looks great, I mean really great, but I think I might have to use a cheaper port than what I have or I will end up in the poor house, Well done, great recipe and video.
Yes, I would normally use a cheaper one, but that's the one I had left apart from the 20 year old!

Par contre,auriez vous aussi cuisiné la joue de porc qui elle aussi permet d'avoir de bons résultats.

I don’t believe I’ve never had beef cheeks….I’ve had every other thing that the majority would go “yuck” to…cow tongue, tripe, pork stomach stuffed with pork meat, pork belly, sausage, and rice, it’s stuffed and sewn and cooked in broth….to die for! Blood sausage….. so good. Cod cheeks and tongues (very small) super delicious…..chicken feet stewed! Heavenly! Octopus! Limpets…my favourite seafood of all seafoods! I was born in Portugal (Acores) we eat crazy things!!!! But I’ve never had beef cheeks….need to remedy this. My husband will not have any, not unless I tell him it’s beef stew…..he’ll know it’s not, lol.
Beef cheeks have become popular, what once was a cheap cut now is becoming a prime cut. Enjoy the stew! LOL
