Best upgrade I found is longer shocks but I dont use the stock lower shock mount. I used a longer bolt and use the lower trail arm mount for trail arm and lower shock hole and trail arm. It doubled my flex and kept stock height
The MN86k and MN86ks range are definitely bargain scale trail/crawlers, I bought the MN86k kit, was quite impressed with it, just wish it come with bearings, not an issue as you get get the full 16 set for £5 but now I’ve got to take it all apart again, that might challenge the screw quality we will see.. Phil that’s definitely a nice RTR version and a good choice for people I think, those stock electrics and that upgraded red motor definitely works great 👍 happy rcing mate
My birthday is coming up and I've really been looking for a kit to build myself .. definitely got wpl in mind for a km kit or one of these MN models as they also look very scale Again - another great video tomley 😎👍 no hard feelings buddy
I saw the mn98ks rtr and wltoys 12429 on the same price. Please do a comparison on trailing and crawling for both of them. The wltoys seem a better buy with it included motor

I think the only difference between motors is a T number. Black is 25T and red is 20T (to fast in my opinion). Great review short but interesting. 👍🏻👍🏻

Just for the detailed body this cars worth the cost. Buy them, use them till electronics or gears fail and them change the body to another 1/12 scale chassis. I am going to do that with a fc610 chassis...
I really, really like this platform but I don't want a model of a G Wagen. I wish MN Models would offer it with a few different body options such as the Nissan Patrol, the original Range Rover or the LWB Suzuki SJ 413.

Does this have the same terrible non proportional steering "servo" that the nm90 has? It's so disappointing that such a cool little truck comes with such a garbage steering setup.
I’ve been so much less than happy with my mn90. The only decent part on it is the body. The transmitter is junk. Non proportional steering. Drive shafts broke the first time out. Tires are junk. Save your money and purchase something decent.

If your going for the ks kit make sure you get some good hex drivers, most of the hardware is 2mm hex 😁
