He is very football smart and is usually right about what he says.

In my opinion most plays should have a RB or even a FB to help blocking especially when your line is suspect.

God rest his soul, but if Marty wouldn't have went to prevent defense in that last "drive" by Elway in the 86 title game, Browns would've went to the Super Bowl. 100%. Elway had done nothing the entire game. I know it's sour grapes but it still hurts, and I know it still hurts Bernie.

Kosar actually purposely gamed the NFL draft so he could be drafted by Cleveland as the first pick in the Supplemental draft. Cleveland held the #1 pick in the Supplemental draft that year. Now that's dedication!!!!

The Eagles have watched film on how Watson is being sacked and they're licking their chops. You can bet they've spent the whole week on the pass rush. Play a smash mouth 3 right end running game and throw screens to keep the defense honest. Must run the ball to stop the bleeding. Then Watson can get a little time to hit some WR. But absolutely have to establish the run.
Bernie is the best. I wish we’d hear this in the middle of the week. It could prevent a week of panic.

It's funny how the conversation has morphed from the ineptitude of Stefanski as a head coach because of his play calling, time management, his having the most penalized team in the NFL, his decision to play an injured QB (Mayfield), and his and complete inability to make in game adjustments, to whether he is making a mistake by starting Watson. Only in Cleveland.

The offensive line is probably the biggest problem but who knows for sure,I think the fairest way to treat Watson is to bench him put Winston in and see what happens.If he doesn’t play well it doesn’t tell us much he’s not supposed to be as good as Watson but if he does it tells us a lot it’s Watson.

Every former nfl qb has also broke down watsons film and said he is just hod awful in every facit of the game. Not throwing to wide open guys. Over throwing. No awarness of the blitz. Abandoning clean pockets. Bernie is lieing to make the browns not look so bad.

Watson is up against and understands the challenges facing the offense, which is multilayered. Just listen to him, he is dropping 35 years of personal experience.
Maybe he needs somebody on the sidelines to tell him what to do and what he needs to know like they were talking about what they did in Houston with him. The whole team looks bad I agree with that. But we got to stop acting like the reason the team is playing bad is the reason Watson looks bad. We're not the worst line in the league. Look it up. There's about 5 teams with worst lines and they're QBs don't look this bad. Lost a lot of respect for Bernie on this one. He likes and respects DePodesta huh? Depodesta got here in 2016 and from then, up to now, his analytics philosophy has made the Browns have the worst or nearly the worst overall record in the league during that time period. He is a massive failure!
