I started watching you at around 15k subscribers! knowing what you went through and the work you put in to get where you are now! couldn't feel more stoked for you dude!
No need to replace the rear bumper with an aftermarket bumper. Just call TerraFlex (Utah company) and get one of their JK spare tire mounting kit which are rated for tires up to 37". I have been using one for 3+ years with 35" tire and no sagging or rattling. Aftermarker replacement bumpers just add dead weight, they rust, and they rattle.
I had those 35 K02's on my Jeep, with a 4" lift. Those tires are amazing in the winter and summer, on mud, asphalt or grass. Quite while cruising down the highway, and almost no wear after 5000 km. Be sure to rotate them every 5k
I had the same issue on my truck with 315 75 r17 gave it a sluggish take off, get a custom tune so your change your shift points, and consider a after market exhaust, including the headers, your jeep will come back to life and then some, looks great
Get a hyperchip for ur comp that retunes the eng and trans. Add nice exhaust and intake, required for the tune to function properly.... Big wheel lag will go away
Well as soon as i begin to type this you address the gearing situation! Definitely change them, and then get to your brakes and youll be set. The setup is awesome for sure man!
I agree. Doesn't look like a Barbie Jeep anymore. Dig the new setup James. Every time a white jeep passes I look for that Strad sticker. Hope to meet you someday. Oh and that restaurant is pretty dope. I was waiting for you to go downstairs and record the car collection.
Nice looking jeep but title is deceiving........i was looking to see if 35's would fit on a stock, out of the box jeep........yours has a 2 1/2 inch lift.
Dany Acosta i personally did not regear and I don’t have any problems but it is something to think about bc the Jeep doesn’t realize you put 35s on so it works even harder of course
Love those tires! I have them in 33s on the stock rims and wheel spacers. I also have the 2.5 Rubicon Express lift kit. Your Jeep looks great! Don't listen to what the comments say, because no matter how hard you try, people are still going to hate your jeep. I've had my jeep for a year now and all I've heard is constant bitching about what I should do next. What I have come to realize is that others people's opinions do not matter and you can never stop with a jeep build. Don't listen to the Jeep nation. Most people will read this and probably agree with me that there is no stopping point in a jeep build so at some point you have to be content with what ya got! Nice vid!
4" lift on 35's you crazy? lol. I've got 35's with a 2.5" lift on my jeep and can't go past 75mph otherwise it feels like I'm driving the millennium falcon
I got a 2012 with 35x12.50/18's and I get between 15-17 mpg so its not horrible. You dont have to get a new rear bumper to hang the tire. Its possible to get Heavy duty hinges for the rear door and use the stock hanger.
I’m so glad you didn’t lift 4 or 6 inches like most jeep guys do, looks awesome with those tires filling up the entire wheel well. Probably isn’t the best for off road performance but it definitely looks good!
Looks good EXCEPT, you must get a leveling kit. Get adjustable coil spacers in the front so you can level the jeep out and also readjust when you get a winch.
Looking good, you bought the right tires & wheels. Mounted correctly. AEV makes an instrument that will correct your speedometer & other things. When you put gears in put locker in rear. Not an air locker my air lockers only work in low get a mechanical( clutch type ).
The stock tire carrier/tailgate can hold up to the weight of the 35 if the rubber isolators on the tailgate are extended and properly holing the tire from moving around. It should definitely be fine temporarily until you get your new bumper/tire carrier if you want to get the ugly spare off ;)
Strad, there are two things you will absolutely need on your Wrangler if you want to be able to do serious off-roading. One is swaybar disconnects. Even if you get manual ones, you at least need those. Especially if you want to do Moab or other severe trails around you. The other is a rear locker. Front is optional, it's good to have for severe conditions, but without at least a rear locker, the Jeep will still just be 2 wheel drive (one front and one rear) and it will not be able to get you where you need to go.
TheStradman um what dictionary are you using? Prefix ir is negative word regardless is negative the english language does not allow double negatives. Irregardless is not a word
Lol its actually in there dude Ima start using that word but its irregardless Plus a double negitive equals a positive so Ir regardless just means Regardless
Nice look Stradman ...... I sell BFG and you can't go wrong with that particular model of tire ! I like that it does not protrude from the fender flares ..... Thats Proper
5.7L or 6.4L SRT Hemi would do, and AEV could do it. I would have put BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 LT35X12.5R17 tires on it. All five of the Raptors that I have had came with BFG A/T KO or KO2 tires. They are good for on road and off road but not great for either. BTW did they re-program the ECU for the new tire size, if not your speedometer, odometer and trip computer will be wrong. The next thing I would add is a backup camera, you wont be able to see out the back window with that 35" tire in the way.
Love all the crazy car videos but as a multiple jeep owner I love when it males an appearance. You should definitely get a front bumper to go with the rear to balance it out. As far as the new tires slowing her down your speedometer is going to be off as well. You can buy a tuner that will recalibrate your speedo and shift points and such for that size tire to help with all that. The next step depending on what gears are in the axles would be to regear them lower or higher numerically. The jeep looks awesome with the new wheels and tires
Ive always wanted a Jeep (well for the past 10 years and I’m only 15 and Ill be getting my license in 2 years and I just want to say that your videos are making me want it more and more, and please keep posting videos going on adventures in your Wrangler with the new tires and can you possibly do a car tour or something
New front and rear bumpers need to be next. I've had a jeep with 33 BF Goodrich tires and never hung a spare on the back. I don't like how it looks and never had a flat lol. Keep a tire repair kit, compressor and/or inflate-a-flat. Guess you have to mount it now since you bought it.
I have 35s on my 13 Wrangler unlimited and I didn’t do anything to my rear tire carrier besides an extender to make it fit. I didn’t do any aftermarket bumpers or tire carriers to hold it. My stock one hasn’t bent either
Serious weight reduction by taking of doors and putting metal bars as doors, adding lights, suspension raise suspension and tune it so you can do a lot of off road
Definitely go for some light bars and an under glow led kit, it will make it look way cooler at night, also make the backside of the jeep an angled back instead of a square, it doesn't look as modded in the square position
Please come back to NYC, There's an all Black Bugatti Chiron at Manhattan motorcars, It might be gone now but first thing I thought of was wheres stradman and effspot? Lol, you've truly motivated me so much the past year! Always great footage and positive vibes, Thank you James

The new meats are boss AF James! I would look into the teraflex tail gate adapter kit for larger tires James, then you can get any bumper you like/want.
TheStradMan you need 4.88 gears. It will put you a little lower than stock. Will help with the power or lack there of, of the Jeep Wrangler. And, also.. Ripp superchargers have kits specifically for the JK.
James buddy the tires look absolutely impeccable dude great choice man and I think the next thing to do to the jeep for you is to get a new front bumper or a hitch

Good for Audi for sending that. What a company.
TheNumberSEvan publicity. Regardless nice of them to do that.

Whatever dude publicity or not admit, its badass....

BossNass it does fit a 35 inch tire on a stock Jeep. I have 35s on my Jeep with no lift or anything
Eli Garcia do the tires rub on anything?
jayden haffner yes but only if you turn the wheel all the way but you can put a 1.5 inch spacer and no more rubbing
Did you have to rear gear with the 35’s?
Dany Acosta i personally did not regear and I don’t have any problems but it is something to think about bc the Jeep doesn’t realize you put 35s on so it works even harder of course

Nice looking tires and rims. I have had four Jeeps in the past but now with five kids I don't have one. You are making me want one! Need a Jeeeep!!!!
You need to raise it to at least a 4 inch lift and 2 inch spacers to kick wheels out trust me it will look way better
Agreed, higher and wider.
Lol get out of here with your spacers! Jeep don't need spacers like your truck
4" lift on 35's you crazy? lol. I've got 35's with a 2.5" lift on my jeep and can't go past 75mph otherwise it feels like I'm driving the millennium falcon

You need a roof rack, light bar and a beafy bumper.
If you find that it's to slow. Procharger stage 3. Can also get the snorkel if you're interested in it.
just bag the back tire man
done and done.
Looks good EXCEPT, you must get a leveling kit. Get adjustable coil spacers in the front so you can level the jeep out and also readjust when you get a winch.
TheStradman you should tune the Jeep and add a turbocharger or something
RC Freak he needs to do a 4 cylinder Cummins swap!
I’ve been running my 20” wheel with 35” tire on my stock spare tire carrier for over a year and a half with zero issues.
I think you made the right choice with which side of the tires to be showing.
Looking good, you bought the right tires & wheels. Mounted correctly. AEV makes an instrument that will correct your speedometer & other things. When you put gears in put locker in rear. Not an air locker my air lockers only work in low get a mechanical( clutch type ).

Sonny Parisi for one, he says it on purpose.. For two, it actually is a word.. If you don't own a dictionary, Google is ur friend..
Sonny Parisi he knows it’s incorrect. He says it for fun. He explained why he says it in another video

Wheels look gr8! I think you should get a roof rack and set of 'maxtrax' for the jeep!
Dude finally, the wheels look just perfect.
If you're changing the rear bumper do the front with a winch and fenders
Looks great, now you need the front and rear bumpers to complete the look..
Great tires. Have them on my 16' jku. Just wish they weren't so firm on such a light vehicle.

You should get some poison spyder bumpers. The rear also has the built in tire carrier.
my recommendations are mat black wrap gloss black metal bumpers after market grill white light bar across the top of windshield
Serious weight reduction by taking of doors and putting metal bars as doors, adding lights, suspension raise suspension and tune it so you can do a lot of off road
Do you use ethanol free gas in your jeep? Next upgrade I’d do is lights. Upgrade all lights to leds, and get a light bar!
front bumper and maybe accessories such as winch and lights. but defintely a good lucking bumper
What a difference it makes... Such a good looking jeep now.
Tires look great! Front and rear bumpers should be next, in my opinion.
Change headlights and front grille. Good custom sets out there just look for the right one.
Definitely go for some light bars and an under glow led kit, it will make it look way cooler at night, also make the backside of the jeep an angled back instead of a square, it doesn't look as modded in the square position
What happened to the soft top thing. That looked good. If you want the hard top on as well, make it black, that would look so awesome

After bumpers get some new fenders. Idk if anyone makes any offroad cf ones but that would be sick if you could find a set.
For the braking problem get a set of power stop brakes. I love my power stops.
The new meats are boss AF James!
I would look into the teraflex tail gate adapter kit for larger tires James, then you can get any bumper you like/want.
Awesome! Also went over to the recommended page with Mike Bowen. Crazy story!!
So weird watching this now. You’ve come so far!
The wrangler needs that aftermarket back bumper. And a new front bumper too . Then wrap it army matte green and some new side step ups
Looks great! I was waiting for you to change the wheels.
TheStradMan you need 4.88 gears. It will put you a little lower than stock. Will help with the power or lack there of, of the Jeep Wrangler.
And, also.. Ripp superchargers have kits specifically for the JK.
Can you get one of those things that goes over the headlights to make it look meaner it would look sick
You need to get a sick front grille guard/bull bars.
Make sure you recalibrate your speedometer for your new tire size
Your jeep videos are the best keep modding it
James buddy the tires look absolutely impeccable dude great choice man and I think the next thing to do to the jeep for you is to get a new front bumper or a hitch
Jeep guys will tell you ... you need to re-gear the speedo sensor for more accurate reading on the speedo. Need to regear the rear end for better performance. Good choice in tires and size though.
You should have put nitto mud grapplers! It gives a mean look and they are amazing tires!
Love the Jeep wheels man. And I would say a front guard or add more black accents. Maybe some new beefy fenders?
10/10 on the tires and wheels!!!! next mod should be power... keep it clean on the outside and beast mode under the hood!
