I have this board. It does what it claims to do. I’m running 8,000 speed ram on XMP. I did 2 things wrong before I bought this board though. I bought the Crucial T700 2Tb Gen 5 NVME with Heatsink and a 2Tb Samsung with Heatsink. I couldn’t use either of the NVME Memory holders that came with the board because the Heatsinks attached to the NVMEs were too large. Also if I had used the T700 in the bottom expansion slot made for Gen 5, it was going to make both PCIE slots x8. I didn’t want to do that with my 4090 so I just put the T700 NVME in the top slot under the CPU and used it at Gen 4 speeds. Kinda sucks but it works great. Also you might say why didn’t you just remove the Heatsinks that were attached to the NVMEs so you could use the larger Heatsink that come with the board. Well I looked at both NVMEs and those heatsinks were screwed onto them with weird rivets or something that I couldn’t get off so I wasn’t going to force the issue. I mainly bought this board to run fast Ram and overclock potential. I’m very happy with it.

My 8000 mhz GSkill ram run at 8200 mhz rock solid without any problem with this board without any voltages change (1.35v stock). 👍👍

7:02 the 6-pin PCIe power connector is actually for the front panel USB-C header to enable 60w charging.

Asus ROG are not ashamed about themselves to sell that at this price. Basically less performance and quality than a Z390 designare or Gigabyte Aorus Master... no Jumbo frames LAN, no Dp In, no audio FKP2, no 3:1 demux, no USB DAC, no phases doublers ? but 400$ more. This MB does no more no less than the regular ones so Don't be fooled : between PCI-E 3.0 and PCI-E 5.0 how many fps you gained ? 1 ? 3 ? what are the chips for LAN-DrMOS-PCie- ? we still don't know because nobody tells us and it would be useful because you know what you are buying. please save your money...

@exotikification stop whining its the best there is if you are overclocking. i run 6.2 ghz all cores and 8200 mhz ram. stable on all games. its not for the normal user !

@@simont7045 So you pay this price for running 6.2Ghz "all cores"... some of P-Cores you want to say, and not E-Cores... anyway, you still don't know what is really solded on your PCB, you were fooled by throwing money away and electricity bills for +5% performance besides a 3 years old MB gen.
