    I LOVE my 19 Forester Touring, but in 25 the Forester is supposed to be redesigned and available with the RAV4/ Venza Hybrid system.
    If that’s the case, I’ll sell my Forester and buy a Forester Touring Hybrid.
    Granted I currently have less than 10K miles on my 19, but I’d really like to buy another one with the legendary reliable hybrid system of Toyota in another Touring.
    My 19 has Every option available in 19. I also added pin stripes.
    No door dings, always in our heated (50 degree) garage.
    I change the oil every 4K miles with Kirkland full synthetic oil, or every 6 months which ever comes first.
    I’m retired and I planned on driving my current Forester until I die, but I’d rather drive a hybrid.
    26mpg on the freeway is lower mpg than what I got from my 11 Rav 4WD Limited with the 3.5 V6 with 269hp. I got 27mpg with the Toyota.
    I’m supposed to get 33mpg with my Forester, but Subaru Lied about the mpg.
    The new hybrid is supposed to have 209hp and get 37mpg, but in reality it’ll probably get around 33mpg.
    We live in a very mountainous area of north central WA state 5 miles from town on a private road that we have to plow and maintain ourselves. We get 4-6 feet of snow every winter and the traction on both our Outback and Forester are superior over any other vehicle we’ve ever owned.
    My Forester is super comfortable and quiet.
    I absolutely LOVE my Forester !!!

    MY 2014 XV is a DOG! putchaced with 50,000 miles. At 60k all 4 wheel bearings replaced. next came both front wishbones due to bushes rotted and only able to get the whole units. Next at 65k the main drive shaft bearing which meant the entire shaft replaced!!! and both front brake discs warped then took under body trays off to find EVERY pipe and cable fixing rotted away completely and the factory rust protection only on 50% of exposed steel so lots of rot. At 70k the rear trailing arms and every!!!! suspension bush rotted. The central locking occasionally locks me in or out and the fault cannot be traced. The worst car I ever bought.

    Subaru's true dark secret is the fact that head gaskets keep blowing out and you have to spend $2,000 every 4 years to get them replaced. Plus the automatic transmission is weak usually goes out and needs replacing at 100,000 miles. But I would buy a Subaru because unlike Toyota, Mazda, and other car makers, Subaru is not raising the beltline (bottom of the side windows) and not lowering the roofs, so you can actually 'SEE' where you are driving, not having to squint through tiny windows.

    • @dianaleon1752
      @dianaleon1752 Год назад +1

      Newer versions from 2018 to 22’ and hopefully 23’ are not having that problem. Subaru has perfected the CVT transmission. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 also I feel like at this point any vehicle can have problems. The new CX-30 and 90s are starting to get recalls. And well….let’s just hope for the best!
