😂 Jokes aside though, the Forester community is among the very best in the car world.
Amazing community. Like old friends.
This is exactly the type of car content I need and want to make myself, thank you.
Thanks for watching! We will try to do more like this so keep an eye out 😉
Dude I got very nervous at the beginning because I own a 2023 model for 5 days lol
🤣
As a black man who drives a Foster, a sport at that, the experience is even more complex....LMBO!!! Great video. You have a new subscriber.
@ K H Man I appreciate it! The struggle is real LOL.
‘03 Forster X (20 yrs) 💪🏿
A proud owner of two Subarus, one of them is Forester.
best video I've seen in a long time - thanks!
I LOVE my 19 Forester Touring, but in 25 the Forester is supposed to be redesigned and available with the RAV4/ Venza Hybrid system.
If that’s the case, I’ll sell my Forester and buy a Forester Touring Hybrid.
Granted I currently have less than 10K miles on my 19, but I’d really like to buy another one with the legendary reliable hybrid system of Toyota in another Touring.
My 19 has Every option available in 19. I also added pin stripes.
No door dings, always in our heated (50 degree) garage.
I change the oil every 4K miles with Kirkland full synthetic oil, or every 6 months which ever comes first.
I’m retired and I planned on driving my current Forester until I die, but I’d rather drive a hybrid.
26mpg on the freeway is lower mpg than what I got from my 11 Rav 4WD Limited with the 3.5 V6 with 269hp. I got 27mpg with the Toyota.
I’m supposed to get 33mpg with my Forester, but Subaru Lied about the mpg.
The new hybrid is supposed to have 209hp and get 37mpg, but in reality it’ll probably get around 33mpg.
We live in a very mountainous area of north central WA state 5 miles from town on a private road that we have to plow and maintain ourselves. We get 4-6 feet of snow every winter and the traction on both our Outback and Forester are superior over any other vehicle we’ve ever owned.
My Forester is super comfortable and quiet.
I absolutely LOVE my Forester !!!
I think Europe/australia has gotten the hybrid version for some time now. Hopefully they'll have more availability. Hybrid combined with Asymmetrical AWD will be great!
@@kylehurlbrink I agree
The EJ series engine has not been used in some time, what you got there is an FA or an FB, just sayin...
are you telling us the forester is a ... chick magnet? :o uwaaaa.!! xD
REI ski guy? Guy on the cover of attractive good listener magazine? I gotta buy me a Subaru forester..
Come on in...the water's fine :p
Not a fan of these newer foresters, so I opted in for an 07 fozzy XTS. Love every second of it
yeah even a newer crosstrek is bigger than those old ones, if i got a new subie it would only feel right to get a crosstrek. it's more proportionally akin to what they always have been
@@zacharyreynolds4303 I do agree with that
Genius review!! I've never has those experiences though. Have a 2017 forester. Had a 1976 model in college. Ugly car but great in winter. Front wheel drive. Lawn mower sized boxer engine.
Oh WOW! Those old Subarus definitely had an "AMC Look' to them. So nerdy, so cool.
WOW 😅😮😂. This guy Should be going to Hollywood.... he got talent
The 8 years on Broadway finally paid off!
This has to be the funniest car review I have ever a seen!
hahaha thank you friend! Appreciate it much
And here I thought this was going to be about some mechanical problems. You sir are a funny man!
Well thank ya kindly!
I own a 2016 XT With 250HP With 22k, Last Year Model With That Much Power, Love It
Wow that's definitely the one to get...and only 22k? Geez-luh-weeze those are amazing miles.
2018 was the last model year for the FXT (we have a dark gray 2018 FXT). Wish they would bring it back!
And here I was proud of my 2016 XT with only 60k.
Only 22k? Damn bro, that ride must be mint.
MY 2014 XV is a DOG! putchaced with 50,000 miles. At 60k all 4 wheel bearings replaced. next came both front wishbones due to bushes rotted and only able to get the whole units. Next at 65k the main drive shaft bearing which meant the entire shaft replaced!!! and both front brake discs warped then took under body trays off to find EVERY pipe and cable fixing rotted away completely and the factory rust protection only on 50% of exposed steel so lots of rot. At 70k the rear trailing arms and every!!!! suspension bush rotted. The central locking occasionally locks me in or out and the fault cannot be traced. The worst car I ever bought.
Good grief-sounds like it would’ve been a good Lemon Law Buyback candidate?
Really surprised at the rando central locking issues too!
You are a genius! You should be a writer for commercials or sitcoms. Really! 👍
Oh stop it SOME MORE.....quit it AGAIN! 😄
@@carvendee 😂😂
You can't say that with out mentioning he's Chris Hemsworth hot.
Well played...
BWAHAHAHAHA
This was incredible, as a person who is purchasing a forester wilderness on Tuesday..
Did you make the purchase??
@@carvendee I did and I love it!!
@@swellz210 that's killer. Congrats--and stay safe out there ;)
I have a 2021 forester touring anyone been having problems with the front windshield? Mine cracked 30 days after I got it no Rock or anything hit it .
Oh dang sorry to hear that....Did you get an estimate? And does the Autocruise situation make the fix more complex?
@@carvendee 1200 here in California.dealer went half with me.
common Forrester fault
who knows.... but I'd send this to SNL or Comedy Central. Quite frankly, they could use the help.
Ha ha! My new Forester makes me nuts sometimes. 🤪
iykyk
Shame Subaru fixed the headgasket problem, just to back it with a CVT. Oh well, job security for me.
It's amazing how many crazy people are posting videos on RUclips these days. What's even more amazing is that there are so many people watching those worthless videos.
I have a 2018 Forester and have been experiencing the same problems as you have. Very scary! Is the a Forester support group where I can get some help!? 😂😂😂😂😂
It's hard for people like "us."
Subaru's true dark secret is the fact that head gaskets keep blowing out and you have to spend $2,000 every 4 years to get them replaced. Plus the automatic transmission is weak usually goes out and needs replacing at 100,000 miles. But I would buy a Subaru because unlike Toyota, Mazda, and other car makers, Subaru is not raising the beltline (bottom of the side windows) and not lowering the roofs, so you can actually 'SEE' where you are driving, not having to squint through tiny windows.
Newer versions from 2018 to 22’ and hopefully 23’ are not having that problem. Subaru has perfected the CVT transmission. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 also I feel like at this point any vehicle can have problems. The new CX-30 and 90s are starting to get recalls. And well….let’s just hope for the best!
Great point.
I have a 2020 Forester - no issues with either.
So much drama. Wasted of my time. Can you direct to the point
😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
This is weird
We are just glad we could recover the lost footage. No one would believe it otherwise!
Hands down that was the stupidest video I've ever seen, but he is a perfect example of a male Subaru driver.
What a stupid intro ... bye
Lame clickbait. Reported.
Lol😂
As if anyone would expect a real dark secret from that thumbnail😂😂
Well played, M W😊
