Oops accidentally made it public a day early! 😂 oh well! Hope y’all enjoy! Do you have an Aldi near you? And do you think it’s as magical as I do? 😆

This was a lot of fun to watch, Kim! 😊 We also have Aldi in the Netherlands! I used to shop there a lot, but our Aldi's seem very messy and unorganized nowadays 😅
And I feel blessed to be able to do my groceries mostly by myself as a single mom with a toddler 😂🙈 However, sometimes I do take my wee Ryan just so he can experience and help out with groceries too 😊
Wishing you and your family an awesome week ❤🎉

Hi! Thanks for this!! I have one not too far from me, but I've never been there. I've been thinking about it though. I've been watching a lot of cooking/recipe videos lately and I've noticed everyone goes to Aldi!

Aldi is a Swedish/German store, so they do everything the Swedish/German way, including the ingredients in their own product brands. This also means that alot of their items are imported and can't be found at most other stores.
America is the only country I know of that allows and encourages things like high fructose corn syrup and colored dyes in products.
They require quarters for the carts so that people put their carts back to get the quarter back. This way, they don't have to pay employees to get carts. This is one way they keep costs low.
They don't give away free sacks. They ask you to buy one of their expensive bags, bring your own bag, or pull an empty box off the shelf. Aldi is one of few stores that actually encourages you to pull their empty boxes off the shelf for them and use them for your own stuff. This way, they don't have to break them down and recycle them or throw them away. These are 2 more ways they keep costs low.
Aldi was founded on the principles of making the customer do a little more work just so the products are cheaper than other stores. This is also how grocery stores in most other countries work too.

Aldi is not Swedish, has nothing to do with sweden at all. 100% german, like Trader joes (Aldi north) and Lidl

You do have to check the ingredients and stay away from all the seed oils they have in there food. I like to buy the Organic Brown Rice and Quinoa, chickpea, and lentil pasta for cleaner ingredients. Look for the single origin organic whole bean coffee, cheapest price you will find. They also have grass fed ground beef and lamb that are delicious. In the freezer section they have Wild caught fish. Look for the organic grass fed deli meats as well as the organic chicken breakfast sausages. Aldis' has single origin olive oil and avocado oil as well as Irish grass fed butter. Always look for the pasture raised eggs which are more expensive but have way more nutrients in the eggs.
