Pulse Topology featuring the new BMW i7 | Art Basel, Basel 2022

Discover “Pulse Topology” by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, an installation presented by BMW i and Superblue. The immersive artwork invites visitors to experience poetry from a human-centric point of view centered around technological innovations. Presented at Art Basel, Basel, the same technology was used to activate the interior of the BMW i7 with visitors' heartbeats.
The vision of a sustainable future was the catalyst behind this art installation, a vision unanimously shared by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Superblue and BMW.
Together, we want to provide human experiences that connect art and technology with a core focus on joy, retreat and social connection.

BMW i7 xDrive60*: Power consumption: 19.6 - 18.4* kWh/100 km. Electric range: 590 - 625* in km.
Official data on fuel consumption, CO2 emissions power consumption and electric range were determined inaccordance with the mandatory measurement procedure and comply with Regulation (EU) 715/2007 valid at the time of type approval. In case of a range, figures in the NEDC take into account differences in the selected wheel and tire size; figures in the WLTP take into account any optional equipment.
WLTP values are used for assessing taxes and other vehicle-related charges that are (also) based on CO2 emissions, as well as for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies, if applicable. Where applicable, the NEDC values listed were calculated based on the new WLTP measurement procedure and then converted back to the NEDC measurement procedure for comparability reasons. Please make Alpina more technology focused like Maybach. More technology in the regular BMWs would be appreciated as well. Think EQS interior design in a regular BMW 3 series. would be epic. Also the new Lotus Emira is amazing, however it would be better if it came with a BMW M engine... Will we see a car from BMW that's similar to Emira in styling and price? The i8 was cool, but it needed a real BMW M i6.
