- How do you make the new 7 Series? For the first time at the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing; models with highly efficient combustion engines, as well as the new fully electric BMW i7 will roll off the same production line.
From bodyshop through to the vehicle dispatch area, and all the digital manufacturing processes in-between. Watch as for the first time BMW Group pilot automated maneuvers within the production environment by just-made BMW 7 Series vehicles.

the whole production of this incredible machine is just insane. I dont understand how it looks so effortless and "easy" to make. They basically create one of the best cars like it is something that just happens, I must say this prodution line is ahead of time. Awesome job BMW

Greetings from Scotland! As I watched that I realised that I was "somewhere else" just like when you listen to good stories or a good poem, so two words came from this video - "Visual poetry!" Very nicely done BMW and the Dingolfing plant!
Not only is it amazing that machines are smart enough to put the car together..... But what's even more amazing is that man created the machines...nothing but pure talent & brilliance.

Ok the first 90% of the video was pretty much like all other car factory clips, but the car driving itself off the line part was a thrilling surprise.

And do every 7 Series go through the autonomous driving section? Was that to calibrate the sensors?
Every 7 is driven autonomous, steered remotly by a computere using external sensors. When the car exists the assembly line, it needs to be driven to a testing area and afterwards to a logistical area. In order to save time and to coordonate the proces easier, all the cars are driven autonomous trough factory.

Please add completely TURNING OFF regeneration option as the 4th option.
We’ve just bought i7. Car is perfect except not being able to completely turning off regeneration/recupation function. I hate from regeneration. It brakes early sometimes more than necessary. There are 4 options; adaptive, high, med, low. Please put OFF option as well with an upgrade. I do my charge at home no need its own charging.

As a previous Mercedes S owner, and a current i7 owner, back seats should lean back 10degrees more. Not enough.
It takes just a little time to Get used To the new design. Like it was with the new M3 and M4. I like the new I7 and 7 series. I love that bmw is not affraid to Try something new. It Is to bold with the new headlights design?? I dont think so, and not anyone can say that the new interior is ugly and not very exiting. If You Do that You lying to yourself, because the interior to the new 7 serie is next level. ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰👏👏

This is a child of e65 more than any other generation of 7 series. It is very ugly.
