Why I Will Never Buy John Deere Again | 210G Repairs
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 9 фев 2025
- Once again we are tackling challenges with our 210G excavator, this time on a new site work project in West Jefferson, NC - a whole two hours from our shop. 😅 I can talk all day about the mechanical troubles that have been plaguing our machine and the awful service we've had on it. But we've got our personal mechanic and operator working on it now, showcasing their humorous ingenuity and problem-solving skills. 🛠 Watch as they make some repairs and then get creative, finding a way to securely put the heavy counterweight back on the 210.
As the rain starts to fall, they hesitantly push forward, knocking out some work on the site. It’s a day of persistence and a bit of creativity on the job site...

As a manager and crew leader I really appreciate the thought these guys gave each step of problem solving! Great to work with guys like this!
Those 2 mechanics need their own show....i enjoyed those fellers
haha they're a good time
The head guy doesn’t even go in any more just diagnoses over the phone that saids it all about that dealer 😂
My JD 200 DLC has been a tank! The lift pump went bad after many hours but we installed a small 24v pump for $25 and it hasn’t missed a lick. I’d stay away from that dealer if they diagnose by phone! lol
I do construction and work around and operate equipment all day and some reason im still here watching it when i get off 🤦♂
it's definitely not a deere problem it's a American problem
customer service everywhere is horrible
That was amazing getting that counterweight back on there in the woods with a dozer
Those boyz got after it
For sure
Another happy customer 😅😅😅
I’m a geek and found your channel. I hate companies that don’t let you repair it yourself. Subscribed !
Welcome to the channel!!
Youll have better luck with Komatsu. I’ve owned their dozers and trackhoes for years now and never had any major issues
Jobs deere excavators in usa are usually hitachi machines with John deere decals on it
Not anymore. In February of 2022 Deere and Hitachi separated. But yeah most excavators made prior to the separation were made by hitachi. Used to use a Deere key to start my Hitachi 470.
@@TsunauticusIVwell yes but that John deere would be pre 2022 so would be a Hitachi I would think
They are all still Hitachi design and parts built by deere in kernsville yes even the new p models
on a 210 the deere will have a deere engine and cooling package A hitachi will be isuzu powered
Deere is comeing out with there own design there are demo prototypes out in a few sizes doing testing now they are still labeled p models but are full deere known as the dex excavator in house
As for the lift pump yeah the y come complete like u got but theres a new brushless
Model out u may not have got that one they are quute a but more money i would have too look it up
Lift pumps are the best thing for a diesel just look at all the problems these trucks are having. The diesel we have is trash no lubrication for the fuel pumps I add treatment just for that.
Stupid corporations. With 100s of employees. Can't fix. What 2 country folks can fix.
I have komatsu, cat, kobelco, Volvo and I have ran all other brands and Volvo is definitely the way to go. No doubt about it
I've had nothing but problem's with john deere personal equipment and business equipment. I'm switching to bobcat when I can
Buy a caterpillar you won’t regret it
I don’t know who your dealer is, but my understanding is they’re only a small handful of independent dealers left in the United States. Most John Deere dealers are Nortrax. And I can tell you from experience they are horrible to work with. They had my excavator held hostage for a year for a swing motor repair. I have a real crackerjack mechanic I use. The only reason I didn’t have him do the swing motor is because he was going through some bad cancer. I will never send my machine back to the dealership again. My machine is actually a Hitachi purchased from the John Deere dealer. I don’t know the years, but Hitachi actually built the John Deere excavators for quite a few years and just recently divorced from John Deere. It is my understanding that the John Deere dealership Nortrax no longer supports Hitachi’s.
For sure, our only real dealer option is James River and we’ve dealt with every division in a 3 hour radius. Have our own employed mechanic now to work on them but he’s still got to argue with the parts darts boys at the dealership before they’ll sell us what we want.
@@officialjohnseamanyou can do most stuff yourself
We had the same problems with our JD310 Hoe they came out 5 times and could not fix it
Sad to see. What kind will u get? I grew up around case international but idk if they make excavators
Tell us how you really feel about John Deere.😊
It's a dealer issue mostly but if you're using james river out of the Asheville area I have a name and number directly to one of the best guys they have working for that area he comes and helps us with our JD 350G he also does work outside of james river for his own business
Does he work on all heavy equipment?
JD has problems of allowing equipment owners to make repairs on their own. JD seems to like to have owners pay for parts that are not needed. I would say look into Hyundai excavators.
TRUTH !
Hey man we run nothing but John Deere’s you have a dealer issue not a Deere issue and the right mechanic at a good dealer will make you think other wise or just a good mechanic but that’s what we get into buying used equipment.
Sounds like John Deere is hiring ford mechanics!
Replace parts until they get lucky🤯
@@thegreeninvasion5511shit I just took my f150 in for my last Free oil change they gave me and what do you know the fuckin thing had a puddle of oil in my driveway the next morning. Fucking idiots. Do it myself from now on
John Deere sugggs bruh
Bro John Deere is trash especially making it hard to replace your old equipment and the whole program they have is trash because it’s not user friendly 😂
To fix ur stuff u gotta use a hack program for there equipment
@@thegreeninvasion5511nowadays thats every manufacturer. Not a lot of talent out there anymore .
Most so called mechanics now a days. Are parts replacers. It's truly ashamed. And a disgrace to true men.
Repping Wilkesboro and ashe....lol

Maybe get a Devlon or link belt, hatatchi is the same factory as Deere
Buy a Kobelco. Night and day difference.
As someone who has used and sealed with John Deere I would recommend a komatsu or cat much better equipment and people and as I tell people no one can deny that Deere makes one hell of a combine
This is happening all over the country
I would try and find a good ind local mechanic that works on heavy equipment.
You should buy Komatsu
The problems get right peoples do job.i work pipelines job nw alberta nobody knew at cat dealers how adjust clutch on 594 draw work yup.i got call so teach mechanic how do it because young guys work on new stuff most time.the dealers issue are start get bad even here canada on trucks, heavy equip, farm so on.thanks expose this.😮
its that because parts are made overseas? John Deere moved everything to Mexico 🇲🇽?
I think I can tell you why it runs so bad 🤣
Deere is great it’s Brandt the Deere mechanics that suck
My experience, Cat isn't any better!
that 210 aint even worth 46 grand !!!
if you have a 210 for sale for 46k I'll buy it.
@@homeguardsteryou can find them that things clearly a lemon you can find lemon 20 tons machines all day long from 40 to 50k
@@snowblowerman5115 show me a 210 in the condition and hours that John has for 46k and I'll buy it.
@@homeguardster not sure how many hrs on his machine but from what I see I wouldn’t call it a real nice machine I also 20 ton excavator in the 40 to 50k range. Plenty of them out there I’m sure you can find a 210 for that price as well. Go look and buy one if ya want one I’m not wasting time looking for something I don’t care about
@@snowblowerman5115 dont care yet here you are..... I've already looked, might be able to find a 50k machine with 10k hours or burned.... stop making stuff up. thanks.
Damn he's jacked
Deere is going out of country....keep giving them ur money.... obviously u haven't seen the American jobs lost
Spend the extra money and buy CAT.
@johndeer. To many chiefs not enough Indians. Just like our government
Because it is al made in China
Did they also go woke?
You really have not a clue what your on about as you get one bad problem with one machine which sounds like nobody could diagnose a small issue so your never buying another one again grow up because in a lifetime you will have lots of different makes of equipment and it definitely will not be the last problem so learn to diagnose problems before you throw a temper tantrum about one issue
Juan Deere is in Mexico now. They are supporting gay pride too. They are making terrible decisions, similar to getting tattoos.
