    WOW I must see I'm utterly impressed on how National Geographic is showing us the inside of pregnant animals. Absolute genius approach; a remarkable way! I'm only 12mins into watching, & I'm in awe

    I'm fully aware of ultrasound procedures and scans, but how to they get those color photos of the fetus en utero? So vivid so real, you can see they're protected and floating in their amniotic sacs/fluid, but how did they get the footage of that? Terrific footage though, and we love seeing this whole video, aerial footage, close-up of the animals, amazing!

      Its computer generated. They use 2d and 3d ultrasound images to generate as accurate as possible simulation of the environment of the womb.

      Animals have animal babies, and humans have human babies. They are not part of the mother but are distinct in DNA.

      Yes, they said that their bodies basically produce antivenom... which is how the mother mongoose's pregnancy wasn't harmed.
