Well in my opinion old & lightweight cars are the best, as they are reliable, easy to fix & strong, even off road. Excepted the front lift (Peugeot 405 shocks & 205 diesel springs), the car is totally stock. I have the stock engine with factory air intake.

Really? Looked like way more on the rocky part... You will get a feeling for it. Your front axle is super light so don't be afraid to go even lower. Everything above 0,5 keeps you save. And take look an tires from fedima. They make pretty nice off road tires also in 13" and 14"! :) Would look pretty nasty on your Peugeot!
Miss my 205 so badly, best and most fun car i ever had by far, and also dirt cheap to run (mine was a diesel one, XUD7). Can't beat the 205 when it comes to smiles/miles. Really want to go out and buy one again after watching this. Went trough forests, on tracks, holidays and daily drove it for some years and the 205 never let me down, it was a great friend to have. opinels are an OK knife, they arent shit like most cheap knives but a buck or something is worth it if you are heavy on your knives, ive gone through dozens of knives but not my buck its such a beast

TU3 engine, Small, powerfull, undestructible, great choice ^^ If you want some more power from it, try a Solex 32-34 Z2 two barrel carburator, they where used for the 85 bph XS and GT 205 and also for the AX GT, it might bolt right one your actual intake manifold.

i had one these before bought from E.S.B in dublin ireland for 50 euros, car still runs fine thought rust got the better of it, 400k miles, original engine and gearbox
fistingendakenny ESB would have kept it serviced and maintained it really well throughout its lifespan, when I was there some of the big trucks were 20 years old and still ran like they were straight from the factory 👍

I had a 205 just as clapped out as that for my first car. Bought for £200, lasted me 5 years, did so many amazing trips in it too. Those engines DO NOT die, had a couple of close calls but she always came through! So, so, so good to see someone else pushing them to their limits and getting the most of of one!

En plus de la vidéo elle même, très plaisante à regarder, j'imagine même pas tous les rush et les dizaines d'heures de montage pour arranger tout ça au p'tit oignons après. Incroyable. Comment tu fais d'ailleurs pour te repérer dans tous tes rushs au moment du montage? T'as une technique pour les resituer dans le temps? Moi c'est toujours le bordel. Et puis j'ai pas d'idées précises des séquences que je vais tourner. J'improvise autour d'une idée générale. Mais toi, j'imagine un genre de storyboard, non? Rien que pour la séquence du péage par exemple, il a fallu que tu anticipes en plaçant 2 caméras, une sur le bras droit et une sur la portière passager on dirait, non? D'ailleurs une autre question, comment fait tu pour les allumer toutes au moment voulu? Ça doit pas être facile en conduisant?

When on snow you should let your tire..down. and here's a good trick you should carry some big cable ties ( zip ties ) put them through your wheel and up around the tires this will give you extra grip. thanks for the upload

Je l'avais pas vu celle là. Juste énorme!!! Y a un travail de dingue derrière cette vidéo. En plus de la vidéo elle même, très plaisante à regarder, j'imagine même pas tous les rush et les dizaines d'heures de montage pour arranger tout ça au p'tit oignons après. Incroyable. Comment tu fais d'ailleurs pour te repérer dans tous tes rushs au moment du montage? T'as une technique pour les resituer dans le temps? Moi c'est toujours le bordel. Et puis j'ai pas d'idées précises des séquences que je vais tourner. J'improvise autour d'une idée générale. Mais toi, j'imagine un genre de storyboard, non? Rien que pour la séquence du péage par exemple, il a fallu que tu anticipes en plaçant 2 caméras, une sur le bras droit et une sur la portière passager on dirait, non? D'ailleurs une autre question, comment fait tu pour les allumer toutes au moment voulu? Ça doit pas être facile en conduisant?

You, sir, know how to enjoy life! Wouldn't be French without a picnic and an Opinel. Front wheel drive is surprisingly capable. Adding tire chains turns it into a tank! Wish we had cool Cars like that here in Canada. Simple, basic, rugged and light. Looks like you know how to drive, too! Reminds me of my younger days driving old cars in the woods. I bought a Peugeot 106 xr from 1995 for 200€...yes, i paid 600 more to make it perfect.
Now that I know hot to fix many things on this car the price for going to the mechanic is almost minimal. I am planning to do the same thing as you!

When on snow you should let your tire..down. and here's a good trick you should carry some big cable ties ( zip ties ) put them through your wheel and up around the tires this will give you extra grip. thanks for the upload
