The flies! We were camping near Lake Superior, in early summer, and the black flies and mosquitoes had hatched at the same time, so that you had to run, like in some cartoon, from door to door, a real "fog" of biting insects!
We've had an insane experience similar like that with mosquitoes, in 2021 between Treriksröset and Abisko. It was impossible to stop at all. At least unless you were fully clothed and wore a mosquito head net, bathroom breaks were impossible but luckily we found one of those outhouses... Also, in 2020 we had an experience like that but with regular flies instead. Flies aren't normally an issue but this time they were so many it was literally like how they paint those black clouds in cartoons! So we ran several km from the flies, laugh-crying because the situation was so absurd. Never experienced something like that before and I hope I never will again 😆 So.... I think I understand. /Kim
I was wondering if you had solar panels to keep your equipment running? Pretty long haul...must have been a big editing job! Halti to KJ sure looks different from the winter... Had no idea it was so rough!
No, 2 x 10 000 mAh powerbanks (although we started with 3, so here we still had 3) was enough, and we charged it when we passed towns, and later also in huts where it was available. Yeah, editing always takes some time 😅 We'll see how long it takes before the next one is ready! I bet it is much nicer in winter, especially on a snowmobile. No rocks! 😆 /Kim
NPL is amazing. So beautiful. Thanks for sharing your trip.
I've been on a 150 km snowmobile trip from kilpisjärvi to Halti, across reindeer grazing lands... A wonderful day in May!
Hoppas på mer av Lukas svorska, magiskt :D
Fantastisk fin film. Tack för att ni delar med er av ert äventyr!

Heja, heja, väldigt vackert och lite kämpigt, som det ska vara!
The mosquitoes are real in this one, holy crap. Love watching! Hope you share more.
And yet, we've experienced worse 🤣 (In 2021, Treriksröset-Abisko)
Glad you like it! 🤗 More will come as soon as we finish editing the next part!

How was the water situation along this trip? Easy to find drinking water?
@@BamsenSlagbjorn No problem at all! 😊 /Kim
13:25 max 1 hour and it is open, because this is only 10000 combinations....
@@gromosawsmiay3000 1 hour is longer than our break 😁 /Kim
