Th3_What.... Those aren't buttons..... Those are mini receptors that transmit neurological signals to the brain to prevent him from feeling pain..... They charge during the day and maintain their signal strength in the evenings so he can fight without processing the negative effects of punches and kicks..... They provide enough energy to also prevent him from getting complete knocked out..... Notice how all of his losses are either buy submission (caused by referees assuming he is tapping when in fact he is just twitching from a poor heat cell signal or loss in power from the receptors energy) or he is TKO'd (again, stopped by the referee prematurely)...... Chael has NEVER actually been knocked out.... and it is all due to those "buttons"..... Everything I stated here is based on fact. It's not me talking... it's science!

I guess there is, I was just trying to explain how I think Chael isn't more scared of facing Fedor than he would have been if facing Mir or any other fighter.. I'm just speculating, of course most fighters are scared, apart maybe from guys like Gunnar Nelson, or even Conor McGregor, they seem pretty relaxed Khabib also comes to mind.. In boxing, GGG is also a little like that. I don't think the opponent significantly changes the "butterflies in the stomach" level.. I'm not sure if I'm being clear here =$
But I'm guessing for every pro fighter, they don't see that big a difference between each other as we (the spectators) do.. You see what I mean ?

i see what you mean bro, but i still feel you are wrong. fighters are people too. they know exactly the opponents that a likely to beat them just like we the outsiders do.
not only do they know the opponents that a likely to beat them, they also know the fashion in which those opponents may beat them (just as we/the fans sometimes do ).

So Fedor was listening to Chael and went for the knockout with an unorthodox punch right off the rip.
UFC should take notice and hold tournaments like this for their promotion every other year. Getting sick of the interim belts and MMA using the boxing playbook. Hold tournaments to determine champions and simply set up great fights until the next championship year. Fighters can still sell fights and put on a great show, but being champion should be earned in a tournament every other year. Time for a change.

I think Fedor takes it by decision. Mir may be bigger and have a more versatile skill set, but Chael is spot on when he says about him being slower, and having been inactive for around 2 years. Fedor, even at his age is still faster and likely will have the better cardio. I don't see Fedor getting the KO, rather he'll use his speed and unique boxing to keep Frank at bay and control the pace en-route to the decision. I think Chael will find a fight against Fedor easier than against Frank, but he beats either guy though.
