There is one, that’s the door that they went in through and that they were trying to run back to when they saw the I Rex was in the way.
Yeah ghost is right. The indominus blocked the small door which prevented them from escaping and forcing them to use the big gates. The reason behind the big gates is because if the indominus had to be moved to another paddock or to release another animal into the paddock if the indominus died etc.

There was. That's the door they were running towards. Also, why on earth would they have one at the main entrance when there is no reason for a human to enter through it, unless of course they want to pet and then feed the dinosaur with themselves.

@@islandgrown06 That tracker wouldn't have been in since birth, it was far too large. Perhaps they installed a series of trackers throughout her life, and she remembered the site of the most recent one.

Even though I like this scene there are so many things wrong with it:
-Why didn’t they locate the tracker before going inside
-Why did they even go inside, what were they hoping to find that way
-There are most likely cameras, just play back what happened
-Why is there a dinosaur sized gate
-Why did it take Chris Pratt so long to run outside, that would have been a 10 second sprint max
-Why did the security guard sit in front of the car instead of getting inside and driving away... he had a head start anyway
did you watch the movie because: 1. they did and the dinosaur didn’t show up, later on in the movie it tells us that it can hide from the tracker/thingy 2. i think they wanted to see if the dinosaur got out and if so how 4. they could transport the dinosaur if something were to happen ex. fallen kingdom 6. buddy i don’t think he had keys for said car lmao
@@camrynh3919 no it can’t hide from the tracker. Just the thermal sensor. Later on it had to claw out its tracker to avoid being followed
@@camrynh3919 1. Harvey Hodgson is right, the Indominus ripped out its tracking device later on. If it had done that in the cage it would appear to still be there, hence they wouldn‘t have gone inside. 2. Wouldn‘t you make absolutely sure an animal wasn‘t inside the pen before entering, especially if we‘re talking about a 15 metre dinosaur hybrid. 4. That makes sense, but for an animal that dangerous wouldn‘t it make sense to have some kinda lock gate that needs special authorization to open. 6. He was still the first guy to make a run for it, just run into the forest or something, but don‘t just sit there

There should be one smaller exit for people so that diano can't.
The smaller exit was blocked by the Indominus as you can see behind it. Which made them forced to use the big gates to escape. The reason behind the big gates were if the Indominus had to be moved to another paddock or if another big dinosaur had to move in if the Indominus would die etc.

I love the entire plot of this movie rests on: Do you really think it would have climbed out?...Dude if you're questioning that you shouldn't be in the cage to start with!
Alongside she driving to the control room for a call and they dont wait for the confirmation or checking the outside of the cage first for marks. No they decide to fuck up the park all by themselve and chris pratts ego is high as ever before and at no time it comes into his little mind he got blood on his hands and he should be held responsible for all the damage too for being extra stupid and reckless. Just a bs movie

I just wish they hadn't ruined it in the trailer. It would've been a bit crazier.
The thing is the Indominus definitely saw the guy hiding behind the truck and could've grabbed him without flipping it over. Part of me feels like the thing did that just to let the guy know how f***ed he was.
Well, it was 'hunting for sport'. It killed dozens of Apatosauruses for no particular reason. It didn’t need to do it, but it did. Kind of mirrors it's creators, huh?

Indominus was asking "why are u running?" Little aggressively.
You know what real world zoos do when they have a specially dangerous/smart animal? They dig a hole deep enough so the animal can't climb and put it there. Then comes the cage and smaller gates.
It is still amazing how a dinosaur hybrid organized a plan to escape her cage and people got duped because they thought she was just animal
people underestimate how smart these animals are. these animals watch everything that people do and start to pick up on it.

@@FP194 What I wonder is why they want to use them for war. It’s clear that they aren’t invincible to weapons; they can be killed with guns and artillery (a rocket even killed one of the raptors, and a pistol would’ve killed Blue if she wasn’t treated in time).
If they send like ten dinosaurs out there, it’s very likely that only one or none of those dinosaurs will even survive against the enemy’s defenses. Of course the Indominus practically ruled the island once she got free, but that wasn’t a military island... if it was a military island, the Indominus would’ve been in trouble.
@Junaid But still a waste. Like all those years of work or training gone, and it only took less than a few seconds because a bullet or rocket would kill them in such a short amount of time.

I remember as a kid I had a dream very similar to this chase. I was in the city and suddenly felt the big steps getting closer, I could barely move but I managed to get under a car and then I saw the big mouth with giant teeth looking for me, terrifying dream
Jurassic Park trilogy was my childhood favorite. As a kid, I had numerous nightmares about dinosaurs. That's why scenes like the part where Owen was hiding under the jeep make me uneasy. I had dreams like that.

One thing i wish the characters in the movie would realize is that the workers are still outside the paddock and they havent seen the dino out yet so it couldn’t have escaped yet
true or wait for like 1 minute till the call is made without driving away not knowing if the dino hides in the backseat. or checking the outside of the cage for marks/footprints, seriously such stupid acting and storywriting messes up the whole trilogy in the first movie every actor had a sense of intelligence but here its the exact opposite. its wrong for a movie to make you want to see the main cast die (which of course never happens we all knew pratt would survive everything)
