Nice to see that so many other people have come here after watching the same Elementary episode. S4E15, like many episodes, had great music, well chosen for the context and setting. I hadn't heard of Phillip LaRue before, but I'm glad I heard him.

I first heard this song on "Drop Dead Diva". I think of my best best buddy of nearly 20 years, he passed away in 2014. I was at his hospital bed when he passed on to.. "The Other Side" I still miss him terribly.

Whoever wrote this song understands the question of being... that said, who am I to judge who 'gets' it and who doesn't? Rather I should say: the lyrics and sound resonate deeply with me. I think this is my favorite of Philip Larue. Thank you for writing your music Philip.

My favorite cat passed away last Saturday. He was the third cat in 3 months and the second cat in 3 weeks. It was feline infectious anemia and he couldn't breathe towards the end. I couldn't save any of them though I tried everything that was possible. No song has been more relevant for me before this. I would almost like to believe that I would meet them on the other side. I am an agnostic and yet I so badly want it.

I don't know what season or episode I was watching but heard a guitar and female vocal at the very end that was enchanting. The episode was about an old friend kidnapping Sh. sponsor and leading Sh. to find his sister; (already dead) through the drug paths. Watson finds sponsor and Sh kicks the sh*t out old friend. Vocal comes at the end with scene on rooftop. Is this the song?

+Rob McRonald Even if they do, I don't think they should say that. I know someone with MS and she has her good days and her bad, but she has been lucky and found something that she loves to do, and that has helped her tremendously. It's also how I met her, coincidentally. She began working with horses and opened a riding place which I attend for therapeutic riders.
Long story short I don't know why they said that, but Gregson seemed to love her, and I personally don't think he's making a mistake. Like Joan said, it will be hard... but if he loves her, should that really matter?
Love the song and Elementary. What an amazing episode with an amazing side story.
I am married to a woman with MS. She is simply not the woman I married 13 years ago. It puts a huge strain on a marriage. That is the horrible truth about MS... it is a corrosive disease that robs a person of many of their faculties and abilities. You are right... if you love the person then taking care of them might be at the heart of the sentiment but when you are trying to build a life together and you desperately need your partner to carry their share and work in the give and take of marriage... it can be an awfully hard road. I know now why the majority of marriages where one spouse has MS ends in divorce... because it becomes a battle of two victims... the one who feels they have to shoulder more and more of the burden and the one that is incapable of seeing this because mentally they lose the ability to think critically. My wife is not capable of seeing her own limitations... as far as Gregson and his girl friend go... if they knew now where she might end up... they would go their separate ways... but then again... maybe they both need to learn the deeper meaning of love. Agape.
