Nice video! I would have liked to see close-ups of each architectural detail you mentioned. Also, do you ever check out the Monterey Heights and St. Francis Wood areas? Some of the most beautiful homes I've ever seen!

St. Francis Wood is amazing! I should do a driving tour of every neighborhood in San Francisco, there's some A+ areas people don't really know about.

One thing I don't understand for historic value is how many homes and buildings were torn down and replaced with new development which is sad.

It's not really possible in SF unless the home is beyond repair.

You lost me @0:45 - NOT a Victorian but a quite typical Edwardian Gothic stucco faced house, built in 1915 by well known architect Willis Polk. Popular style right through the 1920s. Originally planned to be the left half of two houses, the second was never built.

Well done, but your dates are off...the Victorian Era began with the Queen's reign in 1837. The reign of EdwardVII ended in 1910.

Sadly, these homes won’t survive the tech workers who buy them, gut significant features and try to make them appear modern like a newly built condo.

Why American houses r named after British monarchs?

like most petulant children who want their freedom, they regret it and wish they could move back home but are too proud to admit they were wrong.

Just describing the era--and influences--popular in architecture of the time.

I find the labels distracting. Video is clearly real estate oriented.

Well he is a real-estate agent and I like it it’s kinda interesting

Video is intended more as educational for San Franciscans so they can learn/remember the differences. Not really a chill and watch video for tourists.

Unfortunately both homes showed at your start are Victorian

Cool video, but made for architecture students or something,...for ex: what the heck is an eave ?? A battlement or a parapet ?? You also should've waited for only beautiful sunny days to shoot,....not dismal depressing overcast days.
