Great video. Can I ask whether the face of the beater that hits the drumhead hits square to the head, or is it more the top of the beater, meaning that the contact point is smaller and the wear is all at the top? And perhaps the tone is different because the beater is not striking along its full face? Its not possible to see because of the position of the camera (not a criticism, just an observation, all comments made with total respect, in case anyone thinks I'm being an a***hole)

At $45/$50 In the usa, for a domestically made item they are reasonable. Bass drum beaters have always be strangely priced by the big companys. some sell almost exactly the same part as others but ones price is $15 and then other $50!?

Does anyone know the gram weights of each beater? After 52 years of playing I know I don't like any beater over 80 grams. As light weight as the Dragonfly appear, that brass attachment can be weighty. Any gram weights?
