i played a lot of games on the single gtx 260 gpu : Crysis 1,2 ,need for speed 1,2 and 3, cs .1.6 ,css ,metro 2033 ,2034 ,all stalker games that released officially ,all call of duty games till black ops 1 ,i really crushed cod4 on this gpu . We used custom configs to reach 250-333 fps for clan matches. Before Stellar Blade we used to have Blood Rayne 1 and 2 😅. Dark Sector was very cool single player game . I was wondering why the main character in warframe looked too familiar .Played red alert 2 and yuri's revenge ,oh boy when we make massive armies i felt like my pc was dying 🤣
Now all of that. How will you have felt if you had a pc with an SLI like this?
@@DanielCardei I don't think i would have been enthusiastic . The gpu's were power hungry and there were not much games that pushed sli or crossfire in that matter . But I wonder if i could record footage with one of the gpu and play with the other 🤔.It would have been cool if one recorded the games and the other pushed them with no performance loss😁. They could have been good for some room heating combined with hungry cpu as well 🤣

The main thing to remember, when trying to assemble the SLI rig- not all motherboards with 2 and more PCI+EX slots ARE SLI-capable!!!
usually they put an SLI/Crossfire logo stamp to tell you that the motherboard its compatible. i don`t know if its the same think for OEM PCs.

The i7 4790 processor is from 2014 and the GTX 260 is from 2008, for the right enthusiasts the current hardware is from 2008, I have a Core 2 Quad 9650 processor, a socket 775 motherboard and an Nforce 680i SLI chipset, but that's just my opinion 🙂
i bought a z99-e mobo with CPU and memory and still was cheaper than a single motherboard LGA 775 that supports SLI ¬_¬
@@DanielCardei Don't go with the "period-correct-system" bullshit. Always test you GPUs in SLI with newest CPU. That's the only way see full potential of SLI setup
i have 2 of em also. overclocks easy to 630 core
what specs on pc you have?
@@DanielCardei X2 64 6400+,M2N32-SLI deluxe, DDR2 800 4GB. Only 1 260 1,8GB on use cause PSU has only 1 6 pin.
Can you test it with lossless scaling ? Target 60 fps to 120fps. And try upscale also from any low resolution ....not all max settings high possible will be fine
i have that on my list. it was suggested many times and considering what i do it will be very advisable to have it

i`ve tested the cards with windows 7 that doesn`t work. Neither GTA V or GTA IV. Rockstar stopped the compatibility for them. Steam ahs no more support but i still run it because i won`t let the OS die
