If you found the tiny Wally figure in the video be sure to let let me know and see if you make it onto the leader board... There's still time! www.bouldercreekrailroad.com/find-me-challenge.html
yep You gave me an idea now , i will try to create my simcity 13 miniature city and maybe industry zone with big ben tower and it will be good clock in my room
Hey man, congratulations. Your creations are amazing! I was wondering, did you ever try to create an alien landscape? I mean, it woudn't have to be something out of a sci fi movie. Maybe the Apollo lading site, with a little lunar module and a flag?
This video made me realise that there's some youtubers out there who really do put in a lot of effort for what they love. After watching so many of your videos and seeing the hours that go into your dioramas, I decided just now to turn off my adblock on youtube so that I can support the youtubers I like, even if in a small way.
Great job as always : ) How about some industry ruins that are overgrown by grass, bushes, shrubs and birches? Maybe with some old tracks etc. ? (Birches are the majority of trees in these kind of areas) If you dont know exactly how these areas look I recomend you looking at examples from postindustrial regions, for example my region the "Ruhrgebiet" (Germany).
My seven year old granddaughter chose this video to learn how to make a desert scene for her toy horses after looking at numerous videos. She and I will learn how to make realistic scenery together. Your how-to videos and DIY tools give me confidence to help her tackle that which I would never have attempted before. Thanks.
I LOVE Your videos!! I'm not even into trains but your process is fascinating to watch and your detail is amazing! It just makes me happy watching. You keep making these little vignettes... I'd love to see them all in one video. Maybe you could showcase them one by one and one and point out your favorite details? Just an idea... :)
WHAT IS HAPPENING? Hey all, I'm currently working on my next video and also moving house. While waiting for my next video, I've created a new Instagram account for my fans to post completed dioramas you've created (Conditions apply). You can check out the latest activity via: instagram.com/bouldercreekrailroad/ See you soon. Cheers, Luke
What would be neat is to add rock and soil layers to the side, to make it look as if the display had been sliced directly from the Earth! Great job Luke. I absolutely love your work.
Towan, you've done it again... The time lapse was cool, but I like when you talk about your process. Your descriptions are always so clear, and full of useful information. Of course, having watched a lot of your other videos, I could tell what you were doing, so I guess I'm saying "Do whatever you want. It's all good!". Kudos!
That was completely amazing. I hope you have the ability to continue to do it, but I'd be excited if you could upload these separate time lapse videos of your dioramas. I'd be watching them in a heartbeat, as well. Your regular videos only come out about once a month, and these time lapses in between would definitely bridge some of that gap. I try to recreate many of your ideas, and that time lapse did wonders. Your instructionals are so amazing. Keep it going.
Thanks mate, I'm definitely planning to film more of these time lapse type videos in the future so it's really good to know that you enjoyed watching 😀
For what it's worth, this proves to me that your style of video is effective. I've watched most of your more in-depth videos and for this one, I knew what you were doing, what you were using, and why you were doing it, every step of the way. End result looks good!
Missed hearing your desciptions on everything but still unbelievable work as always! My husband and I look forward to your videos and get giddy when a new one comes out. Thank you for making them!
This was a fun one-off, but I think I prefer your excellent narrations. Even when you're doing something I've seen you do before, I seem to get something new out of it. Always great work... :)
Although I’m a very tall person I LOVE tiny things and your channel fits my miniature needs! If you want a suggestion for a possible model I recommend a mountain peak with some tiny people paragliding or perhaps you could do a canyon Revine of sorts with hikers and a river at the bottom.
I have probably wasted ten minutes of my life seeing this video because I am sure I won’t try making any dioramas, but watching Luke build it is just so satisfying!🙂
That wasn't Luke in this video folks! That was the hand of God making all things beautiful on this Earth. Fantastic video Luke! An absolute pleasure to watch as always. Thanks for the relaxation time. Cheers, Dan
lol... thanks for the amazing compliment Dan, I'm happy you enjoyed watching, I'm planning do do a few more time lapse videos like this later down the track. Thanks again 😉
@luke towan you should make your home into a mini museum where professional and beginner modelers can come and see your wonderful dioramas and models!!!
YEEEESSS A TIMELAPSE DIORAMA !!!! I'm so happy to see that !!! Can you make the road 66 ? Desertic scenery with cactus maybe, harley davidson? LOOOOVE YOUR WORK ! YOU ARE AWESOME 😍😍😍
amazing job the detail you put in each model you do it's great it helps me out on things i'm not seeing on my models at the time and helps me for more detail keep up the great job
Amazing as always. I’ve watched your tutorial videos before and it is great to see you use the same processes all in one go at high speed. I like the format. Could always have cards pop up to recommend other tutorial videos explaining that section in more detail. Keep up the great work.
I really love your videos, but found this one amazing - so awesome to see how often you clean up (the Mrs has just pointed at my pig-sty of a work bench and said "go on then, get to it!") and the little tips and techniques you use without probably thinking.... A wicked video, and I'd certainly enjoy more of these style time lapses in the future :) You, sir, are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your skills with us all.
Amazing man!! I’ve glimpses a few of your build and knew that you were the ‘Model railroad’ miniture pro, but didn’t realise how convincing a ‘daylight’ outdoor shoot could be!! I have a few Aussie Sci Fi ideas that sort of hinge on some images of fake places, fences, underground complexes etc. So when the time comes I think that we will have to talk!! 😀🕺🏻🎥🏖🇦🇺
Wow that was amazing..... I am from India I can't believe a you can do it so well and easily... Founded your such a video in fb than i frequently jumped here for ur more videos. 😍💕💕
🇦🇺👍 Awesome, Luke! This video showcases another magnificent diorama created by your expert hands! Welcome back. Quite awhile has passed since you've posted a new video. I love to see you back in action. -from Tom Pilling P.S. I spotted the wallaby or juvenile kangaroo in the front, right corner of your diorama amid a very small clearing between the trees.
I was just watching a movie in another window in wich they showed an african landscape from an aerial perspective...really couldn't tell for a second which one was the real one and which one was the model. Great job!
This is great! I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and the other day I realised that some people on Instagram had been taking some of your videos and uploading them to Instagram without giving any credit. Just thought I'd let you know.
So freakin' gorgeous, man... I knew I was in for a treat when I found your channel, subbed, then smashed that bell icon. You're a damn genius, that's what.
If you found the tiny Wally figure in the video be sure to let let me know and see if you make it onto the leader board... There's still time!

Do Apollo 11 landing site!
It looks so real with the sunlight shining on it. Great job!
thanks mate, taking photos out in natural sunlight makes a huge difference in the realistic look of the model!
Yep
The only time RUclips recommended a random video that I actually caught onto and subscribed
I understand your situation, I’m in it too
Same

That's a great idea Jutta, I'll definitely take that on board 😉
Pls make this happen, how about Chernobyl?
Luke Towan Chernobyl abandoned style would be great 😍😍
Love the idea.
Luke Towan hope to see it one day in the future.
I'm just amazed at how realistic you manage to make that giant hand to pick up the 4WD! Thanks for a great video...very inspiring stuff.

Luke, you're an internarional treasure.

can you make the same scene but just after it has rained with some puddles and mud ruts?
WHAT IS HAPPENING?

What would be neat is to add rock and soil layers to the side, to make it look as if the display had been sliced directly from the Earth! Great job Luke. I absolutely love your work.
probably have to cast each layer in resin to achieve that, but that would look great !
Kudos!

Time lapse is very very nice 💪🏻
I would LOVE to see a tropical/Beach diorama! A place for the palm trees you've previously made!
I always planned to do a beach scene, I just need to make a bunch more palm trees 😉
Ariana Cole yesss!! A beach
or maybe a sea scene with some surfers
Oooo forshadowing
For what it's worth, this proves to me that your style of video is effective. I've watched most of your more in-depth videos and for this one, I knew what you were doing, what you were using, and why you were doing it, every step of the way. End result looks good!
that quad-copter shot at the begining was beautiful :P
That opening shot is ultra realistic. Great clip
The bob Ross of models

Missed hearing your desciptions on everything but still unbelievable work as always! My husband and I look forward to your videos and get giddy when a new one comes out. Thank you for making them!
I can't comprehend how real they look it's just so cool
Wow! You get all those creative juices flowing . . .videos like this make me want to build!
Luke, thank you very much for your tutorials, a source of inspiration and a stimulus for imagination. Greetings from Italy.
What's cool is that since I've watched a lot of your videos, I understand what's going on at each step, even without the explanations! :)
Wow, watching time lapse videos never gets old.
lol... glad you enjoyed watching 😀
Luke, you are a MASTER! You have Australian scenery down! As real as I've ever seen! Love your videos! Keep it up!
I looked up time lapse Australia and this was a complete match
so relaxing to watch
This was a fun one-off, but I think I prefer your excellent narrations. Even when you're doing something I've seen you do before, I seem to get something new out of it. Always great work... :)
As much as I love the tutorial-style videos and as much as I learn from them, these little timelapses are really really nice!
Brilliant. Those before and after outdoor shots really set the scene perfectly. Paul
Been following your modeling exploits for a while...Good to see you're going viral. Talent equals success. Thanks Luke. 😊
Amazing! Very realistic! The way you apply that grass so it stands up is so cool.
one day he will connect all his dioramas together and it will make an awesome giant diorama !
Although I’m a very tall person I LOVE tiny things and your channel fits my miniature needs! If you want a suggestion for a possible model I recommend a mountain peak with some tiny people paragliding or perhaps you could do a canyon Revine of sorts with hikers and a river at the bottom.
Its very beautiful realistic job, Congratulation Luke.
Gorgeous - I love your videos, and this one made me homesick for the area I grew up in...
Great Build Luke!

Thanks for the feedback 😉 I'll definitely do some more like this

Amazing as always. I’ve watched your tutorial videos before and it is great to see you use the same processes all in one go at high speed. I like the format. Could always have cards pop up to recommend other tutorial videos explaining that section in more detail. Keep up the great work.
I love your channel and I don't even do dioramas! I find it so fascinating and calming....

Another great video! You could let that run in real time and we'd all be happy.
thanks mate, in real time the video would last over two and a half hours! Glad you enjoyed watching 😉
Luke Towan You say two and a half hours like it's a bad thing. 😁
gorgeously, my eyes again received a dose of pleasure
Your videos are amazing. Thanks so much for sharing

It's a good day when you upload! Thanks for the amazing video, the piece turned out great as always :)
Can you please make a winter one
I have plans to eventually work on a winter scene 😀
oh...that would be so sick!
Actually, in Australia this could be a winter scene! xD
Yeah, this could be any season in Australia, just change the colour temperature of the light a bit to simulate overcast conditions. Great job Luke!
Masterful Luke, it looks beautiful.
Cheers Ken.
blown away, as always!
I love this so much. Such amazing detail. Great work as always
Beautiful as always.

Happy to help!
Wow. it's simply amazing!
I would really like to see you try to tackle norwegian scenery! tall spruce trees, snowy ground, majestic terrain (as far as that is possible) :)
Gracias por el vídeo
Por favor
Que fibra usa para la vegetación ?
Y como se llama el aparato
Con el que lo extiende ?
So freakin' gorgeous, man... I knew I was in for a treat when I found your channel, subbed, then smashed that bell icon. You're a damn genius, that's what.
Great video as always, all it needs is a couple of drop bears and it's perfect! :3
whaat!? no commentary? that's the part i like, you have such a good voice for that
Bravo l'Artiste !
