For my experience aquarion is in race with vengir currently, they are extremely slow both in water and land , no starting tech , weaker units, amfibians are nerfed riders no roads no fortify this doesn't balance the water movement, sharks are worst unit in game for its cost they get absolutely obliterated by both scouts and rammers surprise is useless in water ,when attacking rammers you already damaging it with scouts before hit to take no return damage, juggernaut and bombers already have stiff, scouts have 1 defense so this nearly useless, they are aquarion fastest units but get killed by 2 scouts and cant even reach them first, because of all other units are slow catapults and bombers are extremely strong against aquarion its pain to reach them when they have basic rammer scout support, jellies are ok but they fall late game especially when enemy gets aquatizim , they are counter rammer in paper but actually 15hp rammer beats jelly in 1v1, tridents are second worst unit in game for its cost currently persist is nearly useless when they have 2.5atk , you get 2 trash researchs to get them and almost never worth it please bring good old tridents back also i noticed something aquarion dont have usable ranged unit archers are in hunting branch not fit for aquarion and already said tridents, puffers are good alternative to catapults nothing much changed its nice to see it fits aquarion now, atolls are nerfed myselyum they are exact same but atoll not heals I think they should heal like myselyum or give 1 pop again they need buff, flooding mechanic; again good on paper but in reality it actually helps other tribes more only decent use aquarion benefits are flooding is make amfibians move 2(if not blocked by forest, when they blocked there is no difference between land and flooded land so flooding the tile that have forest is pointless) other than that crabs dont get much use of it, but when it comes to enemies flooded tiles make every aquarion city very vulnerable against rammers because they basically move one tile deeper into aquarion city ,most of the case you are forced to take mermaids in most cities amfibians get one shot in city because of no fortify, this already reason why bombers and catapults are so strong against aquarion, lost cities have its own benefits and weaknesses really good change for aquarion i think, aquarion farm rate should be bringed back to normal, you dont always have water for aquacrops, land cities are cant be upgraded more than lvl 2 until you get too much tech which aquarion cant because of already weak economy, in addition to no starting tech you need so much techs to work for both economic and military, its not possible with aquarions bad economy, crabs are only good unit aquarion have I love them but still they are defensive version of giant with additional escape not much power difference, for these reasons I think aquarion needs general buff to most of things, they are now unique but with what cost ...
